Eh, I find this to be a huge waste. I enjoyed this movie a lot when I was a kid but haven't seen it in years. For those that have seen it recently, is it a movie worth converting?

I own and love this old movie but I wouldn't bother

I don't even get a move like this. It's an old movie. There are not enough scenes to justify it being converted.
Plus...converted films NEVER come out good.

hope it does well enough for gilliam to get funding for don quixote.

I remember enjoying the film a great deal as a kid. Converting it to 3D for rerelease might be a good way to introduce this gem to a whole new generation. However, 3D always works best in movies meant to be seen in 3D (Piranha 3D, Friday The 13th 3D, Jaws 3D, etc). Just taking random 2D movies and converting them to 3D likely won't work very well. All of the great "you feel you can just reach up and grab the images" scenes won't be there, because they were never shot. So I'm kinda on the fence with this one.
