Just got off the phone with the theatre in Toronto - the guy on the line was really helpful - the showing is the 7 Minutes only - No IAL afterwards - he didn't know if there was any swag giveaways however he did say that there were more tickets given out than actual seats - I have a feeling there's going to be some pretty angry people walking away from these places tonight and tomorrow

I just posted this in the other thread in TDK Spoilers but i'll repost it here.......I just called the IMAX in Chicago. The woman immediately with no hesitance gave me answer saying that they cannot provide any information nor were they given much information and that you would have to call WB directly to get information, tickets, answers....There is no "line up time" and she just simply said since the showing is at 7 30 that you can just get there anytime before then.

You know I would much rather see the footage in a week when I am Legend comes out. Something as awesome as The Dark Knight footage would mean so much more than watching a shakey bootleg from the POV of someones jock.

I'm willing to wait an extra week to see it.

that's great for people near enough to an IMAX to be able to catch it in theatres. But for those of us without the means to see it in theatres, a shaky low quality cam would suffice

I just talked to someone there- they kicked out people who are waiting currently. They won't allow people to wait in there until after the show before it starts (5:00)

You do have a point there, but Warner could very well put the footage up after the opening weekend for I Am Legend, and then gauge ticket sales after that to see what kind of buzz TDK has going for it.

I honestly can't see them alienating 80 percent of fans, even the virals have let the info be known, even if you couldn't directly participate in the campaign.

I doubt it, since IMAX has a monopoly on it. Probably their incentive to be able to have exclusive use of the prologue between now and when the film is out. I bet the regular trailer will go up though.
