I thought that it was pretty well acted , and that even if there was similar plot element it was a completely different movie than Stm (and one that i prefer personnaly) Visually , tonally , and thematically ( it expand on some of Donner and goes in other direction too )

The acting in STM was pretty good, though Chris is the only one who blew me away. I liked a lot of the supporting characters better in SR, like Perry, Olsen, and Luthor. I'm still waiting for an accurate depiction of Lois.

oh, how could I forget Alan Horn's expection for a clear $500 million world wide box office? Oh, WB was only 110 million off their expectations... not so bad for such a "strong performer".. 20-30 million i can understand... to be off by over 100 million in terms of expectations does NOT reflect a strong performer... try to understand this

Especially when the movie wont turn a profit until maybe even the sequel is about to come out!

But he said to me that, to this moment, the biggest selling DVD in Brazil was THE LION KING, with one million copies sold in the first month.

Who's my hero? Singer, no i just think he is a great director. And yes he took a lot of stuff from STM, but he updated it and improved on it IMO. Sorry i dont agree with YOUR opinion
