Tips For Quiting Smoking?

im an on and off smoker. im off everything at the moment..even blowin them tweeds..need to get me a better job and most of those places make you pee in a cup

Weed is okay, but its not worth the trouble. Personally, I'd rather spend $3 on a pack of smokes than $20 on decent herb. Also, I don't like making myself look even dumber than normal or lowering my IQ. And smoking tobacco is just so relaxing.

I've got like 3 more months to kick it though and I've barely tried yet. Every time I start thinking I can quit and smoking less, some stressful **** happens.

Ni66a my best Friends are the OFFICIAL Judges of This Year's Cannibus Cup.

You're speaking to a true blue Jamaican Dondada of Herb right here.

I only received and distributed the best.

Ah...Ah Crap.....I uh...Just admitted to criminal ac--Ah....AHGHHH!!!! :wow:

i think i'm quitting smoking. i decided on my break at work today that i was done with it. mostly, i'm tired of going outside in the cold to have a smoke. it's been about 6 hours since my last one, and already i'd kill for one.

anybody quit before and wanna share some helpful tips?
2 tips: take notice when you normaly want a cigg and drink *real* grape juice. For example, most of us want one after every meal - so as soon as you choke down the last bite of your steak, chug some grape juice. For some reason, the taste of that juice kills the taste for ciggs (at that present time).

second, if you are able to quit, and a few weeks/months down the line, you find a cigg in your hand, dont be too hard on yourself - you havent failed. Just put it out/finish it and say, "okay, that was one. no harm done." walk away and know that everybody slips, and that doesnt make you a failer.

but then again, i've never quit.

good luck.

Grow some self-control and don't smoke.

The chances of you actually quitting are a million to one.

So, it's better if you not try at all. Just take pleasure in each cigarette you have, because life is short, my man.

Live life to the fullest. Have fun.

Instead of smoking, do something else; that's how I quit -- that is, I had to split my time up with my band, school, and work, and so I just forgot about smoking altogether.

work and school make me want to smoke more. :o

i tried replacing it with other habits, like exercise or gum, and nothing worked. i've been doing it on and off for like 4 1/2 years. i can barely remember what life was like before smoking except that it was more stressful.

problem with that is, i smoke doing everything. i'd be smoking right now, if i wasn't. i smoke when i'm in my car, on break, watching tv...i'd have to pick up more hobbies or something, and i just don't have the time for that.

but you want that cigarrette, don't you?

just that one hit, that beuatiful long drag where you suck in that beuatiful smoke, and it goes out your nose... mmmmmmmm

come on, just try it, once more, man
