Well their E3 was games focused. It seems a lot of people were only really concerned about the policy issues (can understand that) and that exploded afterwards with Sony's decision to go the opposite way and very poor uncoordinated responses to questions by different MS execs in post E3 interviews. Their games showreel I still think was excellent and had LOADS of new retail exclusive games which looked interesting. Sony's really didn't have much that wasn't multiplatform but they didn't need games to win E3 2013. I've seen quite a few people say now that they haven't even heard of Quantum Break despite that being one of MS' main exclusives, the only game at MS's hardware reveal which started a lot of the bad press momentum, and being featured in their E3 showreel.
