No it is NOT CGI. My god, how the hell can you be serious.

I am curious if there will be a directors cut situation similar to DD, seeing as how there are seeming so many things left un-answered or un-clear.

But then again, I do believe MSJ had a lot more control this time round.

I can be serious because I'm an animation major and those are OBVIOUSLY CG. :yay:

Ghost rider was GREAT.... very satisfying! great re-watchable movie!

ill post my thoughts in the "liked the movie" thread.. lol

^pretty sure its real. i remember someone asking nic if the stomach was real and he said something like

"i work out all the time, but people only say anything about it when i had a gut for 'weatherman'."

= its real

I actually dont think the stomach looked natural at all...I have no proof to back it up...though some reports have stated that it was CGI...but to me it just didnt look natural.

The movie was shot in Australia and we know how many African-Americans live there right?

:whatever:

I'm fairly certain that very few African-Americans live in Australia. However, there are many black people there.

The fact that PC people think that all blacks are African American is actually kinda racist itself. How do you think Australian blacks would appreciate being referred to as African-American?????

And to the rest of you...this is a MOVIE...being viewed MOSTLY by people who have NEVER READ THE COMIC...yet you are clarifying all the plot holes, reasons why Hellfire wouldnt burn etc with comic book concepts. You simply cant defend this movie based on things IN THE MOVIE.

And for those of you who say "hey, its about a demon from hell that takes sould...its gotta be cheesy and bad" Hellraiser was neither cheesy nor bad...and Hellboy, while intentionally cheesy, was not bad. I expect my comic movies to be GOOD. That is even more important than being totally faithful to the comics. The mere concept of a kid getting bitten by a spider and then getting superpowers to fight an evil power ranger is just as ridiculous...yet fortunately that movie is good.

High standards people...lest we get Batman And Robin quality films for the rest of our lives.

I don't care where it was filmed. It took place in Texas so should have had alot more blacks and mexicans.

But the one black was innocent, that should excuse it right??? No, it shouldnt. This movie is racist simply based on them ignoring blacks for teh entire film and then seeking ONE out just so he could be wrongfully accused.

There is hardly a bit of action in the film...the longest fight in the movie consists of two punches, if memory serves.

People will tell you that there is action, but seriously, there isnt. Ghost Rider is NEVER in any danger at all. He is grabbed by one of the main villians and then immediately dispatches of that villian without breaking a sweat...he is never in any real danger of losing a battle...not that there are any battles...as I said...the fight scenes are so brief that blinking could miss them.

So Blackheart pinning him in his flat and extinguishing the flame, getting smashed by a truck, smashed through a car by Abigor, having his jawbone smashed off by that cop, hung by the chain that eventually becomes his main weapon, etc, etc, really didn't happen huh?

Or would you like me to site several other examples and COMPLETELY ruin the film for the dude......?

/\

Not to mention the awesome motorcycle action.

I personally went more for seeing Ghost Rider and the bikes, rather the bad guys he comes across.

You just quoted several different "fight" scenes...and they are the ENTIRE fight scenes...there is not a single fight in this movie that lasts longer than Strike/counterstrike/move on

Bottom line is this...... $44.5 million BO totals for the first 2 days make it the #1 highest grossing Presidents weekend realease so far to date. If you hated it, thats gotta chafe!!
Personally, I'm indifferent to the movie - but I've spent the last 2 years reading on this site what the REAL Ghostie fans have been waiting for and I'm thrilled for 'em. So what the hell......
