Overall, Im happy that we have both. It does sadden me to see people not excited for both. Its really a great time to be a Superman fan. Im going to give Routh a chance because he deserves that. He did beat out alot of people for the role. Even though Welling will always be Superman to me, just like Reeve, Routh should be given the opportunity to at least prove himself IMO. He could suck, or he could essentially be a lesser Reeve only. I would have liked a new take on Superman, but at least its being based on a previous version with tons of merit.

Anyhow, back on topic...

Why don't you go smoke some yourself, I think you'e the one who needs to get high. Not me.

Pfft, I am always high, so don't play :P Anyways let's all be friends, we got something in common, we all like Smallville, why would we be here otherwise?

Actually, that explains a lot.. ;)

I'm not sure why you think I'm upset, I'm not...

I have never used pot, btw. I thought if I tried I might like it and not stop, so I didn't ever start.

Pot imho is not near as bad as alcohol, can't die from THC Poisoning, anyways, I like these Tom as Supes manips, wish I could make them. Hehe.

Love this one.  :supes:

:( that's what was supposed to happen. . . .

I love that manip.

Is it me or is Superman sporting long hair?

That \s/ shield looks to big like he has no chest.

You think that's too big? I like it big like that....

It's always something, eh Trip?

Um... putting aside the fact that that manip's body and suit is REEVE's, Welling DOES have a big chest. It's freakin' HUGE. And he has nice abs too. An oversized \S/ would "suit" him VERY well!!

I'm a fan of the big \S/ too..
Here's a scan from the latest Lex Luthor MOS series that I think it's GORGEOUS in every way.

Why yes it is... Gorgeous suit and great art...

Just ordered me that series, haven't gotten it yet.

I'm looking forward to reading it, the art looks fabulous.

:D

I love that series. I think it's and interesting take on the superman story. It's more from Lex's point of view. What I really like is that superman seems somewhat familiar...great artwork.

Something I noticed in this manip. He actually looks better as Superman than Clark Kent :o Ughhh, his facial features don't work out at all for Clark Kent. You need a face more average to pull off both identities as having the suspension of belief that he's 2 different personas.

ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!

OMG, that was too damn funny.

hmmm...well u got to remember, superman hides his identity by putting glasses on..so yeah..

You can certainly notice it more when someone doesn't have more average facial features. Big lips, wide nose, etc... Good for a GQ model but bad for having 2 indentities.

I have not seen that image... From which issue is that from ? The last one ? I thought it was being delayed until August...
I'm a big fan of that series as well. It reminds me a bit of how SV is showing Lex. In his mind, he's the hero. That's why he always feels justified in his actions.

P.S. - The other day I was re-watching Slumber on dvd. Didn't you guys felt shivers down your spine in that Clark/Lex dream sequence in which Lex hits him with the japonese sword ? The dramatic music and Rosenbaum's performance in that little scene were right on the money.
"I'm gonna dedicate my life into showing the world who Clark Kent really is !"
And Tom's face and his plea for Lex to wait and hear him out was priceless.
Just a little gem of a scene.
