WOW, I really like this version. I wouldn't mind at all if this was the suit used for the season 9 finale or season 10 premiere ultimately leading up to the traditional Superman suit for the series finale!

That is a cool pic, but I still can't get my head completely around the whole "proto-suit" deal

If Clark ends up wearing something like that pic---why the need to change it to the more traditional costume?

That's why I really think (and hope) that the outfit we saw in the leaked footage is some sort of traditional Kryptonian garb that he will ultimately abandon for something brighter and more inspirational (also based on Kryptonian design)--which in turns resembles more of the traditional suit.

That's how it all would make sense to me. Maybe others can see an angle to it that I am can't.

Ya i am still in the mindset that this is just a temporary prototype suit/kryptonian themed garb(due to his loosing his humanity deal we have) then hopefully will switch to the red/blue look. As for the classic look or probably something in line to the jl outfits in simular look to the classic look probably wont be seen to when ever the finale episode is.
