The Superman forum is trash now I don't even go there any more. I felt we all could have still gotten along even after the casting, just to many rude people out there that tore our little family apart as well as a lot of newbie and people who never posted there a day in their life came and started bashing the hell out of all the people. Thats why I post at The Planet now if I want to talk about the movie.

I love the show, and Tom has made me intrested in the Superman character again much like how Reeve got me intrested in it as a child... Because of his own fresh take on the character.

You just reused every comment made by Serene or triplet in the last month

Other than that, the pics show how Routh and Reeve both have the more narrow nose and strong jaw like that of Superman from the comics. It doesn't make Routh a Reeve clone by looking like the comics, it just means he looks like Superman and Welling doesn't. Which is why ROUTH IS Superman in the new movie and was chosen by Singer over Welling.

Funny thing is I have not read any of there posts, and copied them.. That came out stright from my mind, and if anyone else has said anything close to what I said then it must be true.. Oh, and yea Great minds think alike.

It's the same situation all over again. This kind of attitude is what has brought wars to the Superman forums. There are Superman supporters and Singer supporters. The Singer supporters have this habit of trying to "gloat" or "rub off" how "good" Singer is doing in all aspects. When they get bored they go to other threads or forums of people that DON'T like either the film as a whole or some aspects and they try to antagonize others by their "blah blah blah, Singer is the best, he is god, etc." crap. It's amazing what blind fanatism can do. This could be two things: either they are really, really bored or they're still trying to convince themselves how "perfect" SR is.

Not a Singer fanboy, and I openly admit to watching the show and think Tom does well on tv. Just because I don't think he fits the mold for playing an adult Superman in a MOVIE doesn't mean I'm against everything Smallville.

I love the show, and Tom has made me intrested in the Superman character again much like how Reeve got me intrested in it as a child... Because of his own fresh take on the character.

Smallville was designed for a Dawnsons Creek meets Buffy demographic like it or not. He plays Superman on TV so the manips are fun to see because we all want him to pull on the tights eventually.

Hey TW4S, where'd that come from? Is it "official?"

I see the red is still maroon (so much for the bad lighting arguments), the yellow looks more like mustard now (??), the neckline looks tighter (LOL!), the cape still looks like pleather (*sigh*), and he still looks more like Chris Noth than Chris Reeve.

But hey, the blue is AWESOME (other than clashing a bit with the eyes, but that's okay.)

that already looks 1000x better. Up top we have Superman, down below "the imposter" who ironically is made up to look like Supes but yet has less of a resemblance than just a normal shot of Welling. A glaring example of my argument about their being an "it" component to Superman...
