I didn't draw the hair on. That's Chris Reeve's scalp in both pics, warped somewhat to fit TW's head. There aren't a whole lot of pics to choose fromof SV's Clark with a hairstyle befitting a full-fledged Superman. That mop-top style he usually wears just doesn't cut it.

Maybe you'd like this one. I figured that, during a shirt rip, he's in transition between identities and hasn't brushed his hair back yet, so I left his own hair intact.

Its good artwork. Do you use photoshop or something else?

Exactly Pat. I was refering to the picture itself. It depicted Welling as Superboy of Earth Prime.

Youre being irrational. Dont take it out on me, I was just noting what I saw.

Actually heres a constructive suggestion to Superboy13bt, make Earth Prime Superboy using the face of the guy who played young Clark in Superman 1...that way you could avoid controversy..and it still works well since hes supposed to be young Chris Reeve (Earth 2 Supes) and Routh (Superman) resembles Reeve. Problem Solved.

I actually thought of using Stephan Bender.... since he'll be playing young Clark in SR

Hmm naw. Use the guy from Superman 1. Hes playing teenage Clark.

Its unsure right now what age Bender will be playing Clark as....teenager or even a younger kid.

Bender looks disturbingly like Reeve though in that official pic with the crystal. Good casting.

Ya. Or you could use the face of one of the Superboy actors from the 80s TV series, since they already have the hair done right.

Nice one, Gregorius.

Jeff East?
Stephen Bender?
Joe freakin' Blow?

I swear, what IS it about the title of this thread that folks just don't understand? Somebody help me out here. *sigh*

On second thought, don't. I'd rather just move on. I'm tired of arguing the obvious.

Does anybody remember who did this manip? It's one of my artsy favs...

His leg is positioned weirdly. It looks like its missing. I think it would look better if the hair was fixed properly.

I never saw that one before (Pat.. you holding out on me?) ;)

Nice background, and great face. I like it.

Oh, I've got a bunch of SUPERMAN manips of Welling. :p Only problem is, when I first started saving 'em, I didn't note who the artists were, so I have filenames like "manip001.jpg," "manip002.jpg," etc. It's frustrating 'cause while I do remember some, most are just unknown. I've been reluctant to post the others w/o being able to properly credit the manipers. :(

This doesn't have anything to do with the topic but i'm not creating a new thread just for this lol, found this in the Comic Book forum:

"I have. Theyre harmless. But that board is scary, theyre mainly weird 40 year old women and homosexuals." Crisis Superman.

You still think that Crisis Superman? lol.

Unbelievable...

This from the guy who said that he wanted to be a better person online.

Nice.

 That was from a while back...and umm I plead the fifth. You're trying to get me in trouble. :p I didnt take the forums seriously before.

Ya umm...that post hes quoting was long before I made my vow to be nicer.

Yeah that's why I asked you if you still think that, I don't wanna get you in trouble, that was in October 2005.

Ya, ummm... How do you explain how you been acting today then?

It was justified. Go back and read the threads. Serene and Agent Pat were being overemotional and mean to me because I refered to 'Superboy' in that Infinite Crisis manip....yet I was correct. It was intended to depict 'Superboy of Earth Prime' and it does. Obviously I'll defend myself if I'm being unfairly targeted without proper justification.

But you made it personal and that is never justified.

It becomes personal when they say the things they said.

I just defended myself.

I'm not going to get into this with you, I think you over reacted....

Whatever.

I think I didnt. They were the ones who over reacted first. I just returned the sentiment.

To be fair....I read his posts, and it didn't seem like he was trying to cause any trouble. He immediately got called out for something he didn't even know he did. (Which he DIDN'T btw, everyone just gets agitated around here obvious reasons) I personally didn't see the big deal about it. (No pun)
