I reiterate, that's not JETT's site. It's some flybynight nobodies that I've never heard of. It's not even SHP - and we know how much Younis likes to pick up the phone and bug Al Gough over this sort of stuff. Why is Gough even talking to these nobodies? Could it be is all BS?

Seriously folks, this is just nuts. Sanchez himself called Gough's reps and they told him to call the PR dept. Why not just deny it outright? And Jayne called Welling's reps and they told HER "no comment."

Something is AWFULLY fishy here, and it stinks.

They're not exactly nobodies. They're part of the same network with Voices From Krypton (who had a podcast with Miles Millar a few weeks ago.)

The frustrating thing is, I don't understand the purpose of the misinformation if true. Then again... people create I-Net viruses just for the helluvit too, so there might not be any purpose behind it at all.

That said, the Welling rumors are all over the freakin' place; they're not just from one source. So what gives? The rumors get bigger and bigger every day and ironically, there's enough evidence out there right now that if Welling isn't in the running, he SHOULD be!

I'm still not sold on this Ed Gross guy, but Gough's alleged response IS in character with how he acts. He DOES talk like that and he DOES fly off the handle when he gets pissed - and seeing as that a lot of rumored blame seems to be falling on Gough's head, it almost makes sense in my mind that he would have an angry response. And there is a possibility that Gough truly knows *nothing* about what (if anything) has been going on between TOM WELLING and the people he's contracted through: WARNER BROS.

But WTF? Why is Gough telling Ed Gross? Why not tell Sanchez. It's not like Sanchez wouldn't LOVE to dispel the rumors. But Sanchez has been making phone calls every other day and now he's getting the run-around, not to mention a feeling that they're "stalling." If I called somebody's reps in Hollywood, I wouldn't know what the standard response would be, never mind how to interpret the way in which it was spoken, but Sanchez has been doing this for years. I'm going to trust his instincts. Could the delay be that they haven't told Gough yet? Geeze, wouldn't that be funny?

Anyhoo, today is October 6th. If JL is going to happen - and I believe it is - we WILL know soon. It's frustrating having to sit on our hands while other rumormongers pull the strings and laugh at the pandemonium they've caused, but at least we know it shouldn't be long now. Plus there's that early strike thing that's happening at the end of this month, so Warners is staring down at the crapper with the knowledge that it's time to poop or get off the pot. LOL

Yeah, pretty interesting in light of all the reports about a deal being finalized and a possible full cast announcement coming soon. I just wish we would hear something concrete!!!

That might have something to do with the fact he (and the rest of the cast) have a long holiday weekend. It's thanksgiving in Canada so 100% everyone would get Monday off. He probably just decided to go with the wife to LA since it wouldn't be a one day trip.

I've had that avatar ever since alpha. I had to go out and rip the scene myself, and back then it wasn't such an easy thing to do.

Anyway, I don't think Tom would waste a holiday weekend in LA. His trips to LA usually signal business. His free time is spent elsewhere, such as Martha's Vinyard with family and friends.
