Yeah, I saw what was being written about her and steered clear of those threads. Not only has this been a new battle in the casting wars it's also been a war about which source or journalist or whatever is more legit.

I would have thunk he definitely wasn't doing it regardless, but how reliable is the casting report you read? Did it appear in Variety or HR? Is Iris confirming it? Or is the only mention of it on that Italian site so far? If the latter, I wouldn't put much stock in it. Remember Teen Wolf?

Hmm. So it is. Looks like they're referring to a report over at CBR. If true - and I still question it because that is FAR from an official casting announcement - the report says principal is to start in CT soon. It's just a horror film though and apparently not a big production (reference the reported budget). Welling did The Fog in three weeks - and he did it concurrently with production on a TV series in which he was the star. So I wouldn't make any assumptions on Routh's availability going into 2008. Good for him if it's true though.

Seems like a small production that will have a quick shooting schedule, this wouldn't have an effect on MOS or JLA, but he has lined up some movies.

I'm just glad he's working. It seems like he's been sitting on the couch waiting for the phone call about MOS. He hasn't been in much of anything since SR. He did voice a villain on The Batman, though.

He lined up two other movies besides Dylan Dog, but I think his assumption probably was there was going to be an MOS.

There's another article/interview out there where it is stated specifically. When I find it, I'll post it. But I do remember being surprised by that because he was the star of the film. He did his CBTD2 scenes in ten days. He might not have been the full on star of that pic, but it was a much bigger production than The Fog.

Anyhoo... the point is, they can make it work if they want to. That goes for Welling OR Routh.

Cause I personally believe they know who the cast is. If the script is as far along as they say it is, they almost have to.

Most of their choices are good. Especially statham as batman. i had never even thought of him. As long as he can get rid of that accent. Not real sure on their choice for aquaman or MM but I am cool with everyone else.
