IF these are real casting choices, then it seems obvious that they are going really young with faces that will draw in the teen/young adult crowd.

What a disappointing list of actors! Last time I checked, this movie was about the Justice League and not Young Justice or the Teen Titans! Great job WB (and I mean this in a huge sarcastic way).

If Tom does not get cast because he's obligated for Season 8 as Gough claims and then some actor from Friday Night Lights (with the same scheduling dilemma) get cast, I'll be pissed!

I don't get how it works in Hollywood. It's like a vortex where logic goes to get sucked in.

In 2004 when Routh was cast, that suit came out, and it was obvious they hadn't really sent the new Superman to the gym I remembered thinking WB had a ******ed bunch of monkeys working for them.

Clearly I was mistaken at just how ******ed WB could really be -- because that cast list makes me pray for Routh. At this point, just to keep any of these kids from becoming Superman, I'd more then gladly give Routh another shot.

Ryan Reynolds would own The Flash and that Scott Porter guy would look good as almost anyone, but Adam Brody?

I really hope that Adam Brody is not cast, that'd be disasterous. If Welling isn't cast as Superman, Brandon Routh is the next best thing.

Ya know, I thought I'd be more horrified by this news, but I'm not. I never liked the idea of a Justice League movie anyway, but I don't care about Singer's Superman franchise either. I guess I'm just really used to disappointment by now. Pessimism, it works!

The only positive thing I get from the crappy JLA news is that all of us on the forum for once agree on one thing and that is the casting is way too young.

Robert had this update a few minutes ago over on IESB:

Trust me when I tell you that I first have to get a couple things confirmed but this is not misinformation. This is 100% real that these people are auditioning for these roles.

I think that I will be able to get the complete list by tomorrow.

When did we post the Adam Brody/Justin Long/Common thing? Friday, right? I heard about it on Thursday but it takes a day or so to sometimes get things confirmed.

Good thing is that Bryan Singer and Chris Nolan still have their films to do. So if WB screws this one up we still have those films to look forward to.

Keep your ears and eyes open, wouldn't surprise me if other news breaks by early morning.

I am hearing that some key heroes have been cast. Let see if we can break this open by tomorrow.

Maybe we will force WB to give something to the trades by tomorrow night.

I wouldn't blame Miller like some of you are doing, its been known he always wanted a "battle tested" older JL look, but WB wanted to go with the younger crew to have them signed on for multiple movies/spinoffs in like ten years for now. So they could still look the role.

So the WB/Miller decided with the younger crew, Miller got the Martian to be in this movie..

And that is what pisses me off... you got Marvel who just got Robert Downing Jr. and Edward Norton as Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, where I am hoping DC would not cast adam Brody and Mary Winstead as Flash and Wonder Woman....
