lol yea I get that but what's the point? We've had 2 films already the fans obviously know their stuff if you wanna tease have a proper nod at who he is not another generic bot.

I give up on films, they just start destroying well estabilished characters or stories and then say "It's a different visual take on something" or "different medium", and people just go along with it, they seem to forget what made it special in the first place.

I personally think fans should get together and do something too many characters have been destroyed over the last 10 years.

This site is called superherohype and yet the superhero's who we should be hyping have somewhat been diluted and reconstructed to suit the man in the office.

Then I guess they should have never made any superhero films, ever. They should also, never hire another writer or artist on any comic. You see, any time a new person comes on board a series, they are going to do their own take on the subject mater. If you don't like it, read only the original comics, and never watch any film adaptations. If you want it pure and original, than keep your narrow minded point of view focused on the original material and quit *****ing about stuff you don't like.

I love that they're going right back to "We reverse engineered all our technology from them", and finding another point in history. This one works much better than Archibald Witwicky falling through the ice to find Megatron.

We're probably going to see more of Cybertron too, obviously.

And we must get Unicron.

I really doubt this is Shockwave, though.

If that's Alpha Trion...exciting.

And if that is Unicron...whos to say he doesn;t like, infect organic matter or something, and turn the moon into his war world type thingie.

There has never been a G1 live action movie and G1 was the most popular Transformers series.


It doesn't try its damnest to please everyone. Most of the changes are uninspired or outright pointless.



That's like saying, what's wrong with "Batman and Robin". Bruce Wayne is still Batman. Batman is still fighting a war on crime. Alfred is still tagging along. The Batmobile still shows up. What do you want from them?

And yet people praise the film when no one can understand what Batman is saying and shows very little detective skills.

Correction. Optimus Prime (Among many others) has had more than just a G1 version. This is just a new story with the same characters in new designs, some inspired by G1 looks, some not.

I liked what I saw as well... I just hope the rest of the movie fits the tone they established in this teaser.

WOW I was not expecting something as juicy as Alpha Trion to be in the movie never mind the teaser trailer.

It would be cool if Unicron was the moon, but I've no idea how they would work it on screen. Earth needs the moon for a variety of reasons, if he transformed or moved there would be devastation here.

Maybe the movie would be to stop him from "awakening".

But if he never awakens, then the audience would never get the money shot of seeing Unicron in full on robot mode. Which would probably provoke a similar reaction to what happened when no-one saw Galactus in FF2, i.e. the fans weren't happy.

Can't see Unicron being Earth, they need to be able to show him on screen.

That's all presuming Unicron is even in the film.
