I think I'm done visiting the forums (not that anyone cares) because I don't want to read any more spoilers that will ruin the surprise for me when I see this movie. But I wanted to make one last post and voice my opinions regarding the recent information about Megatron's return.

SPOILER ALERT

I've been an extremely negative critic regarding much of the rumors surrounding TF:ROTF, but I hope I'm proven wrong. The info regarding how Megs is brought back sounds like a really, really good idea.

To further on this idea, I think it would be a great plot tie in if the Fallen's emergence is because of Starscream. Starscream resurrects the Fallen to destroy the autobots, but instead the Fallen attacks all robots, and then to have Prime/Autobots resurrect Megatron to help fight the fallen just sounds like a really good sci fi Transformers plot.

Here's to hope! Peace out!

I've just realised how much of the movie we've seen filmed so far.... If TF:ROTF is the same length as the first movie then we've got 2 hours to fill....

I think we've only seen about 45 minutes worth of stuff filmed so far....

Makes me wonder what they've got for the other 1 hour 15 minutes (If it's a 2 hour movie that is)

i heard that its official that its going to be on imax so the length of the movie should be enough to fill the excitement of a giant screen.

Maybe alot more space stuff, which would mean they're shooting a large portion of this one in the studio via green screen.

Where is this footage you speak of?

They filmed way more than that i'm quite certain, they have kept the rest under wraps that's why. There's been a lot of filming in new mexico that we haven't even seen anything of.

I know it has nothing to do with Transformers, but I wonder if there will be another Cloverfield trailer with this one.

What the heck is going on with this TF sequel, it almost feels like it's not happening...
-Shia getting 1-2 months off after accident
-Production stopped/not stopped mixup
-Bay's official website down as well as the forum
-No news in a long while

It's like this whole thing ceased any signs of life...i don't like it one bit. :(

I guess considering the circumstances it was to be expected, Bay did make it very clear he wanted to keep a lot of secrets for this production, that coupled with Shia's accident does make things rather difficult.

I think this will really work against the movie. They should release some photos of the cast/car at least to get the word out. It's about time and now more than ever they need it.

If I had to take a guess, when/if the teaser comes out in September the advertising campaing should start to fire up, we will probably see teaser posters start to appear in cinema'. I'm kind of interested in when we will see leaked toy concepts, if you remember from last year we were seeing toys before we had leaked pics of robots.

2 years ago was a great time to be a fan, now that a sequel is coming out, no news are coming out for the new fans to follow like we did. It's sad because it's more fun to follow other movies than it is for this one, shame really...

I was doing a bit surfing and looked over some old news when this got my attention:

Another tasty piece of news, courtesy of Pascal at Cybertron.CA. He reports that the Transformers 2 toys are allegedly already in the early stages of production, with a Leader Class toy being worked on first. Exactly what the identity of the Leader Class toy is remains unknown, but apparently we may see leaked test shots as early as next month. Will it be Optimus Prime or Megatron, or will Starscream take the Leader Class now that Megatron has fallen? Click on the discuss link to visit our 2005 Boards and join in the speculation.

That was posted on July 2nd this year so that might mean this month we are to see some leaks hopefully! :o

There's good news on the movie front for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star Shia LaBeouf. According to an interview done by Access Hollywood, costar Isabel Lucas stated that both the actors were doing fine and that Shia's hand was "healing well" following an unfortunate accident the pair endured late on a Saturday night when an oncoming vehicle ran a red light. Shia's SUV was hit when he was attempting to make a left turn through an intersection. Pictures of Shia walking the hospital grounds support this statement as his hand is now splinted instead of in a complete dressing.

Production of major scenes involving the young actor have been halted to work around this incident. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is still slated to reach its June 2009 release date.

GOOD NEWS PEOPLE!!!

ET is reporting that Shia LaBeouf will be returning to the Transformers 2 set tomorrow.
Sources tell ET that Shia LaBeouf will be returning to work tomorrow on the Los Angeles set of 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.' The actor recently spent time in a Los Angeles hospital and underwent surgery on his hand after a July car accident. Shia's injuries will be written into the script of the 'Transformers' sequel. Keep checking back here for more on this developing story.
I guess he is recovering even better the Isabel Lucas thought. I am curious to know what changes where made to accommodate the hand injury.

It's odd that every finger but his pinky is bandaged since that was the one that was supposed to gonna be amputated. Still glad he's ok and set to get back to work.
