Posted some new pics in the Megan thread and the two pic threads...

Interesting to note that they show Simmons and the new kid was on set as well as Shia and Megan. Also what i found interesting was the fact they'd put fake blood on Shia's bandaged hand..... Suggests that they have written the injury in and not CGI'd/Framed it out....

So they've definitely written the injury into the screenplay?

Looks like they have.... or Shia has ripped stitches and should have been in the hospital getting them re-done, not loitering around set killing his lungs.

I have to wonder how much they'll have to redo to accomodate the injury... Will they have to reshoot some scenes that are set after this one yet have already been filmed or will they just CGI in some bandages/Bandaged hand?

Vid from PhillyFilmGirl or something. It is a shot of the Saturn that has been seen around. If you listen carefully.....

.....Sam is screaming that whatever is attacking the car, and supposedly it is the "Frenzy-like" bot, that it "got his hand".

We'll thats probalby where they can add in the injury...

Posted a link to 4 pics in the pic thread... first three are jsut goofing about pics....

The last one is labelled as a rock falling off a cliff..... but it's not... It's a damn Pyramid getting blasted... They're in Egypt for the oversease stuff...

Well That wasn't even from the movie. It was just after happy hour at Applebee's and Shia didn't want to ride ***** in the back seat between Tyrese and Josh.

Posted some more image links from TF:LAMB over in the Pics thread...

You may not wanna look if you have small kids or are eating though....

TF@LAMB has a report by The Movie Chronicles stating that TF:ROTF will be closing the Queensway Bridge in downtown Long Beach, CA both today and tomorrow

The report includes mention of "precision driving...with car stunts and explosions..."

Chronicles also noted that parkings lots have been set up on Pacific and 4th which could be used for production parking or to store the Transformer vehicles.
Someone get a camera down there quick :lol

Don’t worry, say “Transformers” scribes Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman — everything you loved about the movie and more will be in the sequel, which they claim has an even better story.
“You want to make a different movie, not just a repeat,” Orci said. “It’s a different kind of film that the last one. It’s not a disaster [movie] paradigm.”
What he means is that “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” won’t have multiple storylines told from different points of view all converging in one place for the climax. Instead, expect a different kind of narrative with a different emotional centerpiece.
“A boy and his car was really the emotional thrust of the first movie,” Kurtzman said, “and we felt at the time that that made it a unique way into the story. We knew we couldn’t do the sequel until we had something as equally compelling for it.”
Part of that involves Shia LeBeouf’s character Sam going to college — and getting injured along the way (although not exactly as the actor did in real life).
“We didn’t have to reshoot anything,” Orci said, “but we put [an injury] in there. We wanted to make sure that we put it in so he could be protected, because he’s running around a lot and bashing into things, and he needed something to hold it like a sling [after his hand surgery]. So we wrote it into the script to explain it away.”
Orci and Kurtzman won’t explain away the story itself -– they want to keep that a mystery, even if they say the movie itself won’t be this time.
“The first movie was about the mystery,” Orci said.
“I think there’s an expectation that there will be a deeper mythology where the Transformers came from,” Kurtzman said. “The key is not to get so mired in the mythology that it can’t propel the movie forward. We just touched the tip of the iceberg.”

That last bit intrigues me, no doubt that will involve The Fallen's origin and his relationship to the other transformers and where he came from.

The Chevy Volt has been filmed on the Long Beach set... Put a link ot a vid in the pics thread.... Seeing as there's not a Vid thread:grin:

First time it's been seen whole in it's final form isn't it?

Yes it is. I'm excited for GM and Chevy with this car, and inserting it into Transformers is a great move on their part. I know advertisements blah blah blah but to me they're just cars in a movie.

Autobots and that blue Volt:

I am So freaking confused now...... That Volt is in the blinking Autobot Convoy? It's not a Decepticon?

Edited the above! If you look on tfw2005 there's a new "q&a" with Orci where he addreses the barricade deal. I'd post the link but I don't know how to copy paste on the iPhone. It's in the news and rumor section titled something along the lines of September Q&A with Orci.
