Sorry about that guys. Would it be better if i uploaded to a different host?

I'm new to the boards here. I have been in desperate search and need to find Mr. Jablonsky's score release date...and throughout my travels on the "World Wide Web", I was able to find something that just might tide all of us over until it's release...Tell me if this will do... :yay: By far one of the BEST scenes in ANY movie in the last decade in my opinion. This clip show it from start to finish...

Damn even the ppl on Youtube are debating about which Autobot it was coming outta the pool. :whatever:

The score was perfect...absolutely amazing. It complemented the film beautifully.

P.S It was Ironhide that emerged from the pool how can anyone who has seen the film debate this?

Jesus I wonder how didn't Paramount already take it down

Anyway it's a really beautiful classic scene , and the sound of it just amazing , it was a scene that almost brought me tears , the image of Earth and the 4 '' comets '' , they crashing and searching for their disguise , just terrific
The whole score of the movie is really

i love that part of the score... it makes me want to cry, it feels so friggin epic...

Can someone PRETTY PLEASE tell me when that DVD quality was released? Where did he find it? Is it the Swedish one floating around on the net?

i really don't want a "dvd quality" music rip... I'd rather have the score itself...

Neither do I. But the quality of that short clip is awesome ... faaar better than most I've seen

[EDIT]
Nevermind! Found it , quality is AWESOME!

Yeah...I just had to post it once I saw it. I have watched it something like 10 times and literally, no joke, I get goosebump everytime. Sorry it wasn;t just the music like everyone wants, but I figured it would be nice to have to get us by. Hopefully that was cool with everyone.

And yes, I agree that it was Ironhide in the pool based on the fact that everytime we saw the proto robot, the following scene, or conjoining scene in the case of Jazz, showed their new form driving away or finishing the transformation. We saw Ratchet running away from the crash site near Sam and Makaela (or at least I believe it was Ratchet), then saw the Hummer. Then we see Jazz scan the Solstice. The the Proto majestically comes out of the pool with the deep choir in the background as to not overpower how awesome of an event that is occurring. Then, we see the granddaddy. Everyone's favorite hero (give me Optimus over Spidey any day, especially after this summer), polish it off. I LOVE how long it takes for Optimus to transform for the first time in front of Sam. The music, the camera angles, the camera panning, the sound effects, the visuals.... Absolute perfection.

Yeah, every site i go to is calling for it's release. Is the Spiderman 3 score out yet? I' asking because aren't they both Sony related..? Might be some **** that Sony is pulling, all around............
No, but some kinda bootleg is floating around net...

I liked the score for the movie.

On a slightly related note, I loved the last sequence/shot of Sam & the Autobots, with Prime's voiceover & the edited version of "What I've Done" by Linkin Park.

I'd kill for the edited version of that track.

Seems like the composer pulled alot out of other film scores, but that's gotta happen since you can only compose so much different stuff after 50+ years of awesome scoring. I was surprised to actually see it wasn't done by Trevor Rabin, as that's who I was sure it was done by when I watched it, especially considering their previous collaboration in Armageddon.

Still, good score for a good movie, albeit screwed over a good bit by Spielberg turning over the reins to Bay for directing it.

Just download the instrumental version.

I LOVE you.

Does anybody have the score that played during the scorponok attack? If so i would love to d-load it! Sooo epic!

Just to let you guys know I e-mailed Greg of Greg's Previews on Yahoo. He usually posts the latest information of anything having to do with movies. Sometimes months before other sites get it. Here is a link to his site.

http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/upcoming/

Anyhow, I e-mailed him to see if he had any info on the score. Still waiting to hear back.

Also I was going to add to the discussion. I could understand Jablonsky using some of the same chords and pieces that sound similar to his other stuff. It seems to be a trend of certain composers. One of my favorite composers is John Williams, known best for Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, ET, and more. If you listen closely to some of his stuff you can hear some signatory chords repeated throughout his work. Sort of like his fingerprint on movie score.

Well it all makes sense that composers would tend to use the same chord progressions or beat that they've used in the past. That's why we like some composers and not others. Some have just the right beat and chord progression and they use it in most of their music, but it's covered up to a certain degree so that all of their music doesn't sound exactly the same. Yet, we still feel that heroic mjaor chord with the pounding percussion line and singing trumpet calls. It's just my opinion, but I think to a certain degree that's why we like certain composers and not others...stuff just clicks with us when we hear their music.

Good news and bad news guys....depending on how you look at it. I saw on another blog site that the score soundtrack for Transformers will be released. However, it's going to be atleast another two months before it comes out.
