Transformers Transformers - Score by Steve Jablonsky

Question to the mini Steve Jablonsky. I know Micheal used that silver program but I would like to know what notation program you used and if you used a electric piano through MIDI, I'm trying to compose a score for a movie I just made and need to know your setup so I can.

Though flattered at your comment, I don't believe I can even mount up to a mini Steve Jablonsky. I don't use any notation softwares simply because I detest notation. As I had said before, I use Cubase as my main source of sequencing. I do use a M-Audio Keystation, however, I use it only for making references... it's not my main source of recording device.

Yeah, the more powerful version of the theme that starts the song I quoted above. I'd sever my right arm to have a quality-version of that entire piece.

This thread is for the discussion of the film score by Steve Jablonsky.

The score was really good, IMO. Jablonsky really struck me with "This Tongue Thing's Amazing" from The Island (it was also the song used in the Ghost Rider teaser). He did it to me again with the Autobot theme from Transformers.

Yeah, I asked for that one earlier too. Would really love to have it. Also asked for the very FIRST piece in the movie starting from the soldier's helicopter ride (where they were reminiscing about home) to the attack by Blackout (which is very different from the Scorponok attack---just saw the movie for the 5th time last night and heard it again, and I would REALLY like that one too).

I understand it takes a lot of time for those of you with the talent and I do appreciate what you have already done. It is excellent work.

This is just added to my wish-list.

Can anyone record a sound clip of this part?

I don't know if you can get any of the audio from this or not, but there is most of it on this YouTube video. The only thing that it is missing is the "I'll Drive, You Shoot" bit where Mikaela drives Bumblebee into battle against Devastator, but it has all the rest. However, since it is video, it has dialogue mixed in with the audio track so I'm not sure if this would be of any use or not. It's a thought...
