Hi,

I started the quize on Arcadaid.com but I am only able to find the obvious game like Double Dragon or Burn Out.
I wasn't a game player in my youth so no Encom ID for me :(

Damn cool interview; wouldve like to hear of a David Warner cameo, but hey ho - everything else looks and sounds great.

I know I'm stating the obvious, but the more and more I read of this movie, the more I realise that its an absolute beast of a production and will be friggin' HUGE when it comes out.

The Tron: Legact release is going to be some event.

I must be doing something because the poster isn't in motion for me.

It plays automatically you have to hit the button in the corner to see it again.

I havent even seen the original (its getting sent by Netflix as I type) and I got so pumped from the trailer

I've never been able to get past the first 20 minutes of the original. I missed in theaters, but I tried watching it a few times whenever it came on HBO...always lost interest.

But I saw the new trailer tonight. It looks pretty cool, especially in 3D. Might have to Netflix the original soon too.

You should! The original is a great movie, even for it's time!:woot:
no its not. :awesome:

saw the movie again after years and it sucks on every level. i am talking acting and story. the effects look fantastic because i know how hard it was in the 80s to make this look good.

but the pacing and editing? an Uwe Boll movie has better pacing. and some of the acting was some of the worst acting that i saw in 2010 :hehe:

some said that Tron was to good for its time. i disagree now. the problem was the story. it in no way can connect with a mass public.

I saw it again recently and actually enjoyed it. It's a nice change from the current from of hollywood films...infact, it's the slower pacing of the film that I enjoyed the most.

I loved the original Tron as a kid. No, it's not a landmark achievement in the history of film, but it is a fun little adventure story with some unique and interesting visual designs. I can still watch it today for nostalgia's sake. The small amount of footage I've seen for Tron Legacy reeks of "fake edge." Everything has to be dark, disturbing and violent, because that's cool and that's edgy. Somebody has to get slaughtered mercilessly. It feels a little forced...a bit out of place. I don't know. I hope it turns out well in the end.

its dark because that way you get the best contrast with glowing objects. and since glowing is part of tron i think it was a fantastic idea. the more dark the background is the better the glowing objects stand out.

IMO

I'm talking about darkness in terms of tone. The way scenes are set up, the dialogue and interaction between characters, the type of action that takes place, and so on.

I agree. It all makes for better contrast between dark and light.

Should make the lights look all the more vibrant on the big screen in a dark cinema.

i agree
