God, Clu 2 looks a friggin' badass in those screens. Just to be definitive, is that an actor who has an uncanny resemblance to Jeff Bridges, or have they done that which they did to Arnie in Terminator Salvation?

I think he's entirely CGI.

I've never actually seen TRON but the trailer for this is fantastic, the SFX look superb, definitely on my must see list.

Wow, I'm stunned by the Clu character's likeliness to Jeff Bridges' younger self from the eighties, even if I didn't make the connection 'til after two or three viewings, but it still looks pretty damn good, judging from that quick head shot. Though, we'll definitely have to wait for more footage to see if the CGI head flows fluidly.

Yea Tron was a childhood love of mine. As I got older there are flaws apparent, but its still a fun movie. This one looks like it may raise the bar. Which I'm all for.

I've tried to watch it a couple times and fell asleep. I might try again if the

I've never sat down and watched Tron in its entirety. This is something I will definitely do in the foreseeable future after watching this trailer.

I thought this was going to be a reboot/remake, but it definitely has the feeling of a sequel.

Three things immediately grabbed me, and now, it's on my must see list:

1) Michael Sheen channeling David Bowie. YES!
2) Written by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.
3) Daft Punk original score.

Yes please.

Same boat.......thought the music in the trailer was very well done. All the effects and action were superb as mentioned.


For those that have seen it....Is the original any good?

It's been so long since I've seen the original...I obviously need to watch it again.

If you're going to see it for the first time, don't let the Legacy trailer set your expectations too high. The effects were beyond groundbreaking, for 1982. And the pacing can be deathly slow.

But there's a reason it's a cult classic. I'm trying to think of a movie it can be compared to to give new viewers a good comparison, but keep coming up blank.

since a lot of people dont remember the first movie or didnt even see it i wonder how will the story play out.

i hope in Legacy they explain everything that we need to know. or else this could be a disaster.

We know that old Flynn is in Tron world so I guess that this young Flynn isn't Flynn but Clu or Clu successor, lets's call him Clu².
