I was thinking that cgi bridges looks kinda wierd in the eyes and mouth on purpose since its like the computer and not real Jeff

1. People who work at ILM and Weta are the best, you have to be the best to get jobs there. I think that they should be the ones hired to to do the digital doubles because they are the best in the industry.

2.When I first saw Davey Jones I thought it was Bill Nighy's real eyes.

I believe that creating the subtle movements on the face, there needs to be the creation of a muscles system under the skin to get a convincing result. It's probably to expensive for the fat cats at Disney to spend on one picture to do that.

They were Bill Nighy's real eyes, everything else was CGI except eyes and mouth movements.

That trailer sucked. The movie itself looks good, though.

Am I the only one that thinks this has to be the first sequel where the son of the main character from the previous movie is not annoying ? Pretty impressive

i really dont have any interest in the movie but Jeff Bridges's transformation just looks mind-blowing

Of course the stills are going to look amazing, but in when in motion, it's stuck in the uncanny valley. It doesn't look convincing.

Holy f***!! I'm reverting back to my 9 year old self after seeing the new trailer for this. In spite of my hatred toward Disney, I so much have to see this film. As for the "unfinished" looking Clu FX, just remember that the movie is still five months away. Think back to when they first previewed Iron Man during the Super Bowl in 08' and the CG looked all PlayStation-ish, but when the finished film was released, it looked perfect. To those of you who weren't born when the original Tron came out, just......relax.......and........be.........patient. Some of us have waited 28 years for this sequel. If we can make it, so can the rest of you.

-so sayeth the mastermind-

they've got Jeff's eyes wrong. it's close, but it looks like he has sleepy eye syndrome. his upper eyelids are too slanted. Jeff naturally has small eyes, but they're not slanted like that especially when he was younger...

not to be a d***, but Davy Jones was 100% CGI, including his eyes. they did away with using his real eyes once they realized they could pull off the same visual with less effort.

nah...it's like that because they haven't quite mastered CG humans yet. if they meant for Bridges to look like that, then for consistency sake they should've made ALL the characters in the world of TRON look like that.

The CGI Jeff is a bit off putting, but the film doesn't come out till December so I'm sure it will improve. That being said, this movie looks FANTASTIC!

This is going to be great. The best part is that it's a direct sequel with actual actors from the first movie and not some lame-o pseudo sequel.

CGI Jeff looks a little bit like his brother Beau to me.

I think the CGI looks good on Jeff, isn't he supposed to be a emotionless program anyways...

Can someone explain why they have Bridges old and young in this? I haven't seen the original in roughly 20 years.

The old Bridges is Flynn. The real guy who in the first movie got sucked into the world of Tron. He has been there for 20 something years so he's now old as ****. The younger Bridges is Clue a computer program in his image from when he first got sucked into the world as a young man, hence why he looks young. I'm not a big Tron fan, so I maye have gotten a few specifics wrong but that's the gist of it.

Thanks! Makes sense now.

Move looks pretty cool, I need to watch the original again though. Can barely remember a damn thing about it.
