True Blood - Part 2

Eric is much older and stronger than Bill. Why didnt he rush Bill and grab the vial before he could drink it? It doesnt make sense that he would just stand there.

Like how the vamps in those cells could have thrown their beds at the bars or door and broke out. Or wrap their clothes around their hand and pulled or punched out.

I was actually hoping that Sookie would've manned-up and pulled out a wooden stake the second Bill put the blood to his lips. There's a point where this chick needs to wipe the stars out of her eyes and see **** for what it really is. And she should be well past that point. :o

Her character is due for some development.

I...actually liked the finale (minor issues asides), this season's been all over the place but it sets up interesting direction they could go, TB always had this case of building up something good but the execution itself may not deliver but with Ball gone I wonder and hope it'd be different now that Hudis is in charge for next season and on forth, Warlow, Billith and the inevitable war against the vampires, it has evolved from the small-scale of its inception but at least it's taking a step forward instead of reverting back to status-quo (but that might change though).

You know Bill will be redeemed next season. Lilith should have been the one to emerge and Bill be gone. They still fear cutting the cast down...all they did was get rid of Hoyt.

While FAR from perfect, I gotta say this was my favorite season since the first. Vampire society is falling apart, and the blessed Authority has destroyed itself from within. The Authority might've been in bed with some powerful allies, but it still surprises the heck out of me that they were able to delay a pogrom against vampires for as long as they did. After Edgington it should've been open season on fangers. Now that there's no one left to hold the reins I expect open human-vampire war next season, unless they decide to overcrowd the season with more and more subplots.

This was the worst season by far IMO. On the topic of the finale, it seemed like one long, bad dream sequence. The dialogue was just sooo bad and so were some of the scenes, that I thought that it was going end up that way.

You know, I thought EXACTLY the same when I saw the scene! I was expecting Eric to stop Bill, he OBVIOUSLY had the speed, but then again we wouldn't have seen God Bill!:oldrazz: Kinda poorly executed - they shoulda had Eric & Sookie enter while Bill drank it or somethin, but regardless I look forward to next season!

There were a few bits I liked, but overall, this season was pretty meh. The writers are taking too many liberties with characters and abilities - as already said, Eric could easily have stopped Bill as he's more powerful, but he didnt. Russell's status as the deadliest vampire around wasn't really worth much in the end as his death seemed to happen pretty quickly and relatively uneventfully. And Alcide's return as packmaster could have been much better also IMO, the fight was pretty one-sided and rushed.

Where was vampire super speed when Jason was shooting them?

And all these times Sam's been threatened by vampires, why has he never tried changing into a fly, going into their mouth and then changing back to human?

Why were vampire suddenly not able to smell shifters around them?

Oh, and that fairy birth scene was just ridiculous.

Sadly, True Blood is starting to remind me of Heroes slightly. By that, I mean sloppy and lazy writing ................. writers casually forgetting characters' abilities, or completely changing their motivations overnight simply to suit wherever they decide to take the storyline.

I agree, this is my least favorite seaso. I normall could care less about Bill, but this time I had hoped they had killed him off. No such luck. Hopefully the writing will be better next season and the show will improve.

You would think from that s3 scene that The Authority would be made up of a lot older and scarier vamps that Russel wouldnt be able to take out so easily.

Like Eric eluded to the Authority is made up of politicians like Nora. real bad ass vamps like Russel want nothing to do with that. I think that authority you were picturing before the reality was Goyer's ruling council in the Blade movies who were all made up of pure bloods.

I wonder how many ppl got up and cheered when bill exploded as he's becomes such an likable character? It would have been fitting that was his punishment for the **** he started.

Likewise how many ppl realized that very moment that "billith" was gonna be a thing now.

Did the stuff with Bill remind anyone of Angelus from Buffy?

Except that, even at his worst, Angelus was at least a likable psychopath. Bill essentially turned into a vamp nazi. :o

And Buffy was willing to do what needed to be done. Sookie however...

well lets wait to see what she does next season. The finale was the first time she saw dark Bill

I'm not sure what to think of this season. Entertaining at times but still a bit convoluted.

Sookie sided with the vampires last season over humans. She isn't going to do the right thing if she needs to.

I got the impression Pam was turned on the first time she saw Tara in her leather dominatrix Fangtasia outfit.

This. And just a few other subtle nods. There were scenes in which I did feel some sexual tension between them.

I am surprised no one has mentioned how Jason all of a sudden has perfect aim, he is shooting the vamps in their heart bang on target. Also with the way the vamps move and them having guns and out numbering Jason, it should have been a curb stomp on their part.

You'd also think with them knowing about all the wooden bullets being sold now they'd at least have some sort of body armor on?

Also great team work in the "lets come out only one at a time" approach. I mean if a country bumpkin deputy like jason can take out that whole tactical team single handedly what was the authority even paying them for?

It's really annoying the way Jason periodically just reverts back to his "DESTROY ALL VAMPERS" setting.
