Turtles forever

And then later, after dimensional order has been restored, the Mirage turtles say "I did like those initialed belt buckles of theirs" (which Raph had made fun of earlier in an attempt to gain acceptance). Then another of them says "and you know, a slice actually sounds good about now" "yeah, I know a place over on (whatever the street was)."

Heheheh. :D
Bleecker Street :D

So... wouldn't the 80's Turtles be kinda screwed now, the way the movie ended?

Shredder and Krang got now the sweet, kickass Technodrome that was rebuild by the Utrom Shredder and they've now got the technology to build Foot Robots that actually don't suck.

Thats exactly what I was thinking about.

The turtles did chase after them immediately though. Maybe they learned a pointer or two from the 2k3 guys and decide to destroy the Technodrome once and for all.

Shredder and Krang are probably too incompetent to avoid having it destroyed or at least irreparably mangled by the turtles (or even their own henchmen).

They'll probably use it as some kind of technology attraction to lure April into doing a news report about it. :o

inthe 80's show april's normal ttire was a yellow jumpsuit though in one episode april was dressed as a princess for a masqurade ball and raph's comment was "for once i wish i was human"

My two cents:

As a whole I really enjoyed it, though it was far from perfect. It was a proper send off to the 2K3 TMNT, and on a much larger scale ALL of the Mirage TMNT canons.

I have mentioned this in other threads but a lot of love needs to be given to Lloyd Goldfine and the 2K3 staff. They created an all around EXCELLENT action cartoon that was clearly written for the "smart" fans. I don't believe we'll ever see another fanboy friendly TMNT canon from Nick. I may be wrong, but I just don't see it happening.

The parts I really enjoyed:
1) Closure to 2K3 and Mirage in general
2) Seeing all the TMNT finally meet up
3) Return of Ch'rell Shredder, the baddest dude in the multiverse.
4) 2K3 TMNT being annoyed by the '87 TMNT.
5) Mirage TMNT's presence and reverence shown for them.
6) TMNT multiverse scene. Epic!
7) Perfect timing for a story like this with Nick purchasing TMNT.

The parts I didn't like:
1) Mirage Shredder completely disrespected!
2) '87 Toon characters were complete jokes. Even Shredder wasn't a threat!
3) Story was rather rushed and had way too many "convenient" elements; like the ease in which they tracked the Technodrome, found Ch'rell, warping to other dimensions, Shredder locating the TMNT's lair etc.
4) Karai changed sides too easily and too quickly

Yea they tottaly Badass.... Reminded me of some Clint Eastwood Turtles lol

LOVED it. Shredder and Krang's lines about what they're going to do to the turtles when they get home were hilarious. Giggle gun or whatever lol.

If you guys saw the end credits, 4kids mentions they're going to repeat the special for the next 3 saturdays so by December, hopefully we'll all have seen it.

"Why is he narrating himself"

[BLACKOUT]
& the 80's Turtles reaction to Shredder showing them all of the Turtles

"Awesome" even though as far as they knew they were about to die lol

The smiles on the 80s Turtles are great in this GIF. Totally deserved it.

The Mirage Turtles definitely were badass.

80's Don: "Looks like we just found something he's vulnerable to!"

Mirage Raph: "Yeah, Turtles."

Exactly! Even the first appearance of the Technodrome, with the '87 Shredder attempting to crank the engines and quickly becoming frustrated was great. Especially since the Technodrome was typically seen either not working properly, or stuck somewhere.

I just saw this film. It was fantastic. The stuff with the 80s Turtles was hilarious, especially Raphael breaking the fourth wall.

And I agree the "Prime" Turtles were total badasses.

If Nickelodeon were smart, instead of doing a new CGI animated turtles cartoon iin 2012, they would do an animated B&W Ninja Turtles toon based on the look and feel of the turtle primes from " Turtles Forever".

This...... but honestly Kids these days wouldn't like it.... I mean damn some of the animation on some of these newer TV shows are so cringe worthy I can't even watch them

I have nothing against the look and feel, but an animated black & white cartoon? In this day and age? Except for hardcore fans, not many would like it. Maybe in form of a direct to DVD movie.

Nickelodeon of all companies is not about to cater to a select section of the TMNT fanbase. They'll probably go about as far into mature and violent territory as the last airbender cartoon did.
