Turtles forever

It's basically the Ninja Turtles equivalent to Crisis on Infinite Earths. Due to Krang's dimension-crossing mischief, the turtles from the 80's cartoon meet the turtles of the 2000's cartoon, and the following events put the TMNT multiverse in jeopardy.

I wonder if they will remember to have the Directors Cut ready for today :hehe:

maybe i've just got too much time on my hands but when are we gonna get tmnt 'back to the sewers' season (the final season) & the 'turtles forever' movie on dvd? I read that theres a directors cut now too?:mikey:

The night before last I watched something that I almost totally forgot about, the 'Coming out of their Shells Tour' on VHS. My friend bought it at a Goodwill store, called me up and asked me if I wanted to watch something that will bring back memories.

Remember this?

1. Coming Out of Their Shells
2. Sing About It
3. Tubin'
4. Skipping Stones
5. Pizza Power
6. Walk Straight
7. No Treaties
8. Cowabunga
9. April Ballad
10. Count on Us

In the "concert", they stop Shredder from stealing music from across the world.

ya I remember the turtles musical, lol......just horrible. Now theres gonna be a spiderman musical.

I got done watching this on it's YouTube channel just now and absolutely loved it. It's so hilarious and fun throughout, and I actually felt kind of sad when it ended. It was so awesome seeing the different Turtleverses together and seeing the different eras of the Turtles together. I hope for a packed DVD and Blu-ray release, sometime.

Make it "that's 3 of us". I agree, at the end of "Turtles Forever" it was kinda sad 'cause it's like the end of an era. Great movie though. :leo:

The "uncut" version of it can be found...online. It's about 8-12 minutes longer, here and there. I'll say if you liked the CW 4KIDS broadcast version of "TURTLES FOREVER", the uncut version is even better. It rounds out a couple of the plot holes, and gives more of certain things.

^I second that

I had to record it on VHS and the film for some reason (I only watched it a couple of times) fell apart. Could've been the player I played it in

either way, it's 2010, this is epic, it NEEDS to be on DVD regardless what they said about not wanting to do so. They also said it was only going to air once and they broke that rule by airing it multiple times, so break the DVD rule and release it already.

I thought this movie was a cool way to celebrate the Ninja Turtles franchise as a whole, and to really pay respects to its humble beginnings, to its cheesy 80's explosion, and everything that got us to today. I wish more shows would get a chance to have this kind of treatment done for them (mainly my childhood shows like Power Rangers).

For anyone who missed it or wants to see it again (like me), 4kids is re-airing the special this Saturday at 9:00!

This fall me and my friends at school are going to have a Ninja Turtles Marathon. A couple episodes of the 80's TMNT, the 1990 movie, a couple episodes of of the 2k3 TMNT, the TMNT CG film, and then Turtles Forever. :D

That sounds like an awesome idea!Don't forget to order pizza.:oldrazz:

I recently watched this and I thought it was damn right hilarious and a very fitting tribute too both TMNT series . I'm kinda disappointed that the Classic voice actors from the 1987 weren't in this film it would have been awesome especially James Avery (the voice of Shredder) returning . Still the film was a good

The classic series had In a total 193 episodes aired between 1987 and 1996 (Season 1 - 10).

The 2003 series had seven season.

I just finished watching the directors cut it even better than the original, the additional scenes help the story flow even better especially the scene where 03 Shredder willingly chooses to destroy Turtle Prime even at the expense of destroying himself in the process .

"If destroying them means the end of everything, THEN SO BE IT!"
