it should only be fan reactions at this point. official critics can't give reactions until after the premiere tomorrow night. official reviews lift thursday (i think.)

I am shocked to see POSITIVE reactions. If these are indeed real twitter reactions from real people (not studio people trumping the movie up) I pumped now. If this movie does end up being good or gets a good review score on RT, I wonder how the people who been hating on this since the cast was announced will react?

they'll likely form their own opinions which is good, that's what happens with art.

Green Lantern, and TASM 2 had positive reactions too. The first wave of reactions are from people that would be inclined to like it no matter what.

99 out of a 100!

omg get me the popcorn for this thread. This is going to be great.

99/100 is too much. But the other guy rated it 8/10 which is more reasonable.

If it is good, they probably won't admit they were wrong and act like they were supportive fans from the start, like the Guardian of the Galaxy fans that were convinced the movie won't connect with the general public and would flop.

i would hope not...that's kinda lame.

Once we get the Box Office results. Most likely the ones looking forward to this movie will avoid this forum for a while. Like they always did when something negative happens with this movie

Have you not been paying attention? I can't speak for everyone, but a good majority of the detractors such as myself have been saying for months now that this could very well end up a decent sci-fi movie, but not a good FF movie. I'm a lifelong FF fan who wants a great FF adaption; this does not appear to be one. Therein lies the problem. That's why so many people here take umbrage with this movie.

It's not the movie that causes those looking forward to it to leave the section

Yeah, let's make this clear. All these early positive twitter reactions is not an indicator of whether the critics will like it or not.

It is just an opinion of a few. Btw I liked ASM2 but the critics, not so much. The movie didn't blow me away, nor did it suck.

Exactly! And MoS did as well. Gotta take these with a huge grain of salt at this point. I don't trust anyone who gives a 99/100 review so easily. If I ever gave a review like that then it would mean I think I just watched the greatest movie of all time...literally.:whatever:

Nobody said it was an indicator of critics.

Only thing these tweets show is these people enjoyed the movie and It's an insight into how the public may view the movie

Whether a movie connects and is a hit or not and whether a movie is actually good are two different things. I expected GotG to be good(it was an MCU movie after all) but I never expected it to be as big a hit as it was. I thought more in line with how Ant-Man is doing this year.

If FFINO connects to the general public, I'll admit I was wrong - for vastly underestimating the GP's willingness to fall for a cheap rights grab so long as it has a "Marvel" label slapped on it.

so if it were the FF movie YOU wanted and flopped who would be to blame? What fans don't realize is that the general public outweighed fanboy opinons. Movies made specifically for fanboys tend to flop example Watchmen.

Wow seriously?

For the general audience, none of that matters. They just want to be entertained.
