Yes, new style looks bland and cheap.
Decent cast att least.
On the MPAs official website for movie ratings, the association justified the ratings of Part One of The Long Halloween "for violence, bloody images, language and some smoking." This is not so different from the notes left for Part Two, which receives the R-rating "for some violence and bloody images
I do wish this was aiming a little closer to Sale, but I’ll just take it as a win that they’re doing this now, during the current era, rather than seeing the story done with that sort of faux anime look they were doing for awhile.
This, exactly. The art style wasn't bad, it just eventually got a bit old. It was time for some type of a change up and this looks like a solid change to me.The "faux anime" style wore out its welcome a while back imo.
The "faux anime" style wore out its welcome a while back imo. And the timm style they used in the Kung fu batman movie was so boring and stale. Imo.
It's Troy Baker, he's about as close as you can get. There's something about this that just looks...uninspired.
Also: if you're not gonna have Hamill voice Joker, don't make the guy you do get try his hardest to sound like him.
