Ledger was flawless in his interpretation and performance. I admire the fact he locked himself in an hotel room for about 6 weeks to acquire the Joker's voice, manners and ticks.

I saw this movie on 2008 and today I am still amused by The Joker, I'm sure I'll remember this movie my whole life

Three Years Later and still a magnificent performance. As memorable as a young Brando, Mitchum in Night of the Hunter or Perkins in Psycho.
I was never really a fan of Romero or Nicholson's more or less similar takes on the character (but to each their own), but I really love what Heath Ledger did with it and will always admire his rare and powerful performance. I'm pretty convinced it will stand the test of time.
