im guessing it's gonna look similar to tlour in terms of upgrades.

I played U2 a week ago and it's impressive the leap in graphics compared to U4.

I'm gonna need to see some side by side shots to really see the whole difference. Because in my mind, UC2 was already beautiful.

EDIT: Yeah, that's Drake's outfit from the first one, and judging from the gif, I can already see some improvements there.

that must be an instance of low health then, seeing as how there's no color

Well there is color at first, but yeah it's low health which is most likely caused by the fact that he shot a freakin' grenade a few feet in front of himself lol. But they most likely did that to show off the smoke effects.

Also, It's definitely the first game because you can briefly see Elena there in her outfit from the first game.

Here's a video showing the difference between Uncharted 2 and the remastered version. The difference is noticeable. Everything looks crisper and it looks like there's some lighting and particle effects upgrades.

yeah. the Ps4 version just looks a lot sharper.

anyways, ND wanted to put crash bandicoot in Uc4 as an in-game game.
AVC: If you were to embed a playable retro title into your game, what would it be and why?

BS: Well, there’s actually been a conversation about if it were at all possible—which it’s not, let me emphasize—but we wanted to put a Crash Bandicoot game inside. Not gonna happen, though. Don’t worry.

AVC: Certain people would’ve loved that, though.

BS: Yeah. It’s not our title. Sony doesn’t own it, so we don’t have control.

so, there's gonna be a new difficulty level. here's digital foundry's framerate test for Uc2

Update on the movie, from the SHH front page:

...video game adaptation Uncharted. The Seth Gordon-directed film, which is currently being scripted by Academy Award winner Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), was previously set for June 10, 2016 and has now been pushed to June 30, 2017.

I seriously can't wait to get my first exposure to this franchise when the remastered edition comes out.

As someone who just played the 1st two for the first time just a couple months ago, I must say you're in for a treat! Especially that 2nd one, which is basically my favorite game I've EVER played. As soon as this set was announced, I decided not to stream UC3 on PSNow like I did the others because I want my 1st exposure to that one to be this remastered version. My anticipation for that is making the wait for UC4 so much more bearable, haha.

Just fair warning - the 1st one's fun but nothing special by today's standards (and can honestly get a little tedious). It's worth it just to get to know the characters and their dynamics (which are the heart of the series, really), but the jump in gameplay quality between that and the 2nd one is pretty astounding, imo. So just consider UC1 your warm-up for awesome things to come. :woot:

Yeah I'll sit through it take it for what it is. Im sure it'll be fine though lol.

you'll be getting the special treatment though since it's gonna be 1080p/60fps. the first game also had pop in problems and screen tearing, both of which i'm sure'll be erased in the nathan collection.
