I posted this on reddit earlier; figured you all might get a laugh. This happened to me yesterday. I'm surprised/impressed that Drake isn't reaching through Sam to hold the ledge; he is literally hanging on Sam.

This happened to me too! Haha love it

Oh and Tron.. Golden Abyss is pretty solid. I'd actually put it above Drakes Fortune but the stuoid touch gimmicks hold it back.

Nah I agree with him. I get more enjoyment out of the Uncharted series than most films anymore. I *do* think it's in the top five... He'll maybe top two.. Of my favorite game series. This and Mass Effect.
I love Among Thieves and A Thief's End. But not enough to suddenly erase the history of books, comics and films. Only the Witcher, Souls and Bioshock would make me consider that. :cwink:

I still haven't finished it. There was a real dull stretch from about Chapter 4-12, but once it finally picked up I've become really into it. The overall writing and dialogue are quite good, for sure.

I don't know, it's been awhile since I played the last games, but the shooting doesn't seem hugely different to me. I would still say overall it's very basic and shallow, though I still have fun with it.

One part, without spoilers, is there's a section of the game where you have the option to kill no one and totally sneak past the enemies without any confrontation at all. I loved that. I was hoping that would be an indication that more sections like as the game went on, but so far there hasn't been.
It is basic, but I relish the feedback on the weapons. The series barely had that in the first 2, improved it a bit in 3, but here it feels really natural.

Sam is such a great addition to the franchise and the cast. Baker, as expected, is nailing it. We have just this one game with him and Nate and from the very beginning I bought into their relationship and history. Extremely well done.

Just finished chapter 15, on 16 now. This game is incredible. Hitting me in all the feels.

Just finished it tonight. I want to say it's the best, but it's been over 5 years since I've played the others. The setting reminded me of the first game, how it was mostly jungle stuff, but it never really got old to me like in the first one. 2 blew me away because every setting was different. That train is still one of the best things I've seen in a game. I actually thought 3 was a bit of a letdown. Not because it was any worse than two, it was about even. I was hoping for the same leap in gameplay between the two like I got between 1 and 2.

This one will probably stand as my favorite though. Did the others have all of the stealth takedowns? It's been so long,I can't remember. I loved being able to take people out without alerting the whole squad.

Ha, I did this too at one point...but with Elena, lol.

That chase scene in Chapter 11 is probably one of the best action sequences in any video game EVER. F***ing insane.

That's a screenshot? Fine graphics.

Pfft that goesnt even show a fraction of the graphics in this game. Need to get a shot of nate in the jungle when the light is diffusing through the trees and humid air. Its ****ing crazy. I cant even imagine what this game would look like on a powerhouse PC.

In chapter 11? What chase scene is that, I honestly don't remember one in that chapter.

I was honestly thinking at the end..
We'll here's how we get more Uncharted. The untold stories of Sam and Sully.

The chase in Madagascar.

When Sam's on the motorcycle trying to get away from all those Shoreline guys and you have to hop from vehicle to vehicle trying to get to him. It's crazy.

Oh yeah, that's a good sequence, but is that Chapter 11? I was thinking it was later in the game than that.

Yeah, it's Chapter 11. Had to make sure though, I thought it happened later in the game as well.

Uncharted 4 on crushing seems much easier than the previous 3 games on crushing. I turned on auto aim and Im blazing through this.

I bought it today and am extremely impressed. I think it might be one of the best looking games I've played and for the first time I really feel like this is next gen gaming. It's so good.

Anybody playing multiplayer, what does it take to earn more loadout points for creating custom loadouts?

I'm almost done. Just about to start chapter 21, but I am gonna get some sleep tonight. Will most likely finish it up tomorrow. Can't wait, loving this game a ton.

Fantastic game and a return to form for Uncharted to me.
Uncharted 2 was the game I got with my PS3 and it blew me away. I went back and played the original after that and it was good but clunky, obviously the base for them to do better stuff. Then the third came out and... ehhh. It was a bare bones improvement on the gameplay of the second but the story was a major let down for me. The Sully stuff was great but the rest felt tact on and like there was a ton of things cut. They made a story to stitch together the locations they made and it showed. I was beginning to consider whether I was a fan of the Uncharted series or just the second as that was the only game I played through more than once. Then this game hits and wow, graphics are perhaps the best I've ever seen and a much greater emphasis on the story and character development. Already considering going back for a second run. My only real problem is the multiplayer feels lacking, as fun as it is to be Roman Gabriel and blast the main characters as an unathletic 50 year old man, it needs more variety of modes to be long lasting. But that isn't enough to detract from the score as I've always been a single player girl first and foremost. Gets a perfect 10/10 from me.

Also Crash Bandicoot :ilv:

Tried it out.. And I'm thinking the same. Plus add the infinite ammo cheat.. And it's fairly simple.
