Namor and Nova are the two characters I wanna see in the MCU the most. Besides the F4 and certain Spider-Man villains

Same. I can’t wait til we see characters like Attuma or Tiger Shark or when we watch a marvel flick and the after credits scene is just a glimpse of an underwater paradise and the silhouette of Namor in mid rage

Couldn't we have had Attuma or Tiger Shark before? Are they wrapped up in Namor or FF rights?

I assume so? I mean marvel can’t use magneto since he’s wound up with the xmen. I assume it’s the same sort of situation? I mean attuma is namor’s archnemesis after all

I like the idea of Eddie Peng playing Namor



He’s got a regal and likeable air but also kind of rebellious and maybe a bit of a dick to establishment plus he would definitely look a lot more like an outsider and I could see him covering the love triangle angle well with the fantastic four

He looks like he's wearing Namor's sharkskin suit already. How old is he? He looks rather young.

Well he could work. If he even looks younger than his age, that's better for him. Maybe grow his hair a bit longer on top. Although it would still work fine as is.

Based off of Feige's past statements, we don't know for sure. He has implied that it's even more complicated than the Hulk situation.

Yeah I think with hulk it was sold back when they were an independent studio and universal helped distribute for them. So that’s why they can use hulk but they can’t make a hulk movie.

But I reckon the rights will come back eventually. To be honest, I’m surprised there’s not s time limit on namor’s rights where they have to use him within 10 years or the rights revert. Maybe there is and they’re just ticking down the time?

Marvel's Namor Could Surface in the MCU, Says Kevin Feige

Despite the hopes of fans, one of Marvel’s earliest heroes, Namor the Sub-Mariner, has yet to make the leap to the big screen. However, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige indicates that could change.

While attending a special reception and screening for Black Panther in Los Angeles, journalist Erick Weber asked Feige about that status of Namor, whose rights could charitably be described as complicated. However, according to Weber, the studio president said the aquatic antihero could appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s only a matter of if and when.

God I can’t wait for namor and doctor doom to form an MCU cabal

got to say i really love the idea of Eddie Peng as Namor. He has the look and fluent enough English. Also a massive star in China so could help MCU make further in-roads there.
