Valentine's day is coming up...

Its not that big of a deal when you consider this. Years ago, for my birthday, Liza got me the complete series of The Critic on DVD. It was that day I knew that not only was I going to spend the rest of my life with her, I was also going to spend all of those years spending every Christmas, birthday, and Valentines Day just tyring to find a present comprable in awesome-ness. I still do not feel like I have succeeded. One simply cannot top the complete series of The Critic :csad:

There were a few dance numbers where I wouldn't call it provocative dancing but the dancers mostly men from what I can remember in skin tight outfits prancing around the stage. :csad:

While the story yes is masculine I remember turning to my girl asking her if it was always this fruity.

Remember it's a musical. Not only is there dancing but also prancing...which takes away most if not all of any possible masculine vibes.:woot:

She's a keeper.

Just keep quoting lines from the Critic to yourself during the play, hopefully, it'll remind you why you're there. You can endure a few hours musical torture for the girl who bought you the entire series of the Critic.

I used to be jealous of other people, but I never hated the Holiday itself (until I got together with my girlfriend and had to start "budgeting" for another Holiday).

Valentine's Day is also the "Anniversary" of when my fiancee and I first "got together". Gifts tend to involve roses and candy and "lovin'". I made her a quiche dinner one year. I bought her breakfast in bed the year before. It was just a McDonald's "big breakfast combo" on a really nice platter set. Woke her up and presented her with it, and she wasn't awake enough to figure out what was going on. It was hilarious. One year I put together a monkey basket, which was a huge basket full of valentine's day themes stuffed monkeys, which she collects.

This Valentine's Day will be the fourth anniversary of the day she jumped me, kicking off our relationship and engagement, so we're going to see JUMPER to celebrate. Which looks terrible, so we might not see it after all.

This year, I have a decent job for the first time in forever, so I ordered roses and this cute little sad beagle in a tie that's holding a rose to be delivered on the 14th (I hope). We're going to dinner at the Olive Garden, which she loves, and I snuck around and found her credit card account numbers and payment information at David's Bridal in order to secretly pay off her wedding dress.

You bought her a dog? You gonna clean up after that *****?

I completely forgot about it and I work??

Aww, that part was really sweet. How thoughtful of you. :meow: It's nice when people help you build your collection, it's a sweet gesture. :yay:

Although, one thing to note is to not quote the Critic when she asks what you think of the show "It Stinks!"

You are wise beyond your years amazingfantasy  :woot:

I don't have much money, so instead of buying anything for my boyfriend, I'm making him a delicious three-layer chocolate cake. The kid loves chocolate. And he's taking me out for sushi :3
And hopefully, at some point, gettin' mad rutty >D
We've been dating for four years, valentine's day is pretty low-key for us at this point.

I'm making a gift bag with all these goofy things kids in elementary school give: candy hearts in cheap Valentine's cards, heat-shaped candy, stuffed bears and stuff. Cheap, but cute..hopefully. :p

I'm surprised there's not a thread for the singles here on the Hype.

-Watching "Jumper" before 6pm
-Bowling 6-9

That's a good one, dude. It shows some creative thought and will make her nostalgic for grade school. She might even crave a spanking to make it all really nostalgic as a result.

I want to buy the card that Ralph gave Lisa. :csad:
