Damn, i never thought about that, although there's no indication that Wolverine had never come across Sabertooth in X1. He smells him in the snow, and his claws came out. He knew something was up. Xavier tells Logan "the man who attack you, is called Sabertooth". Logan acted like he had never heard the name before-but that could be chalked up to the fact that maybe he hadn't; as all this time Victor had just be known as 'Victor' to him and not Sabertooth.

He could have recognized the scent enough to know it meant trouble, but not the exact person it belonged to. Scent is a powerful link to memory.

Sort of. The thing is though this won't have the quality that The Last Samurai had.

Hey now that'd be nice. It'd explaine a lot, yah. Hmm If they bring back any of the other characters I don't know how they'd be able to. I mean Sabertooth I can see, that's the only one and well maybe DeadPool. For villains I hope they have Omega Red he was one of my favorites. I'm excited for this film and can't wait to hear more news on this.

I always thought that Deathstrike felt a shock, and relief to the fact that she was just killed...I mean, she didnt want to do it....and when she realized she was dying....she sorta looked at him like "Thanks....*sink*"

Bryan thinks that she was just some house wife Stryker just took....which sorta makes the whole character more tragic and disturbing.

She was under the influence of Stryker's mind control formula....he could very easily have his mind wiped yet again....there are plenty of mutants out there with that kind of ability.

It's stupid to have him undergo a second mindwipe. First time serves a purpose. Subsequent mindwipes are just more deus ex machina.

Do we really need Yuriko in a Wolverine movie anyway? There's enough material for a Japan film without her. She served her purpose in X2. I see no reason to include her. I think shoving cameos and characters into a story unneccessarily is only an excuse for poor writing and detracts from the main story. This was a problem for the Star Wars prequels, Wolverine, X3, etc.

Less is often more. Keep the character count down, improve the story, put only characters whom fit in the story in, and the sequel may actually turn out good. Unfortunately, I don't see this happening.
