Veronica Mars

I found it funny that the Lilith house, in their quest to destroy Hearst's greek system, gave the real rapist the perfect alibi when they did their first fake a rape.

The lilith house is basically a bunch of feminist morons.
Ryan Devlin owned last night. I didnt think that when I first read that the host of ET on MTV would be on VM, that he would be the rapist. F***in awesome!!!
And, oh yeah, Logan was fraking awesome too. Bustin up the car window to get put in the same cell as Moe and Mercer. Classic badass.
And SPOILERS....
I pretty much guessed from the previews last week that Dean O'Dell would get bumped off.

Wait, what about the radio shows? Was he just doing the show on teh fake rape nights?

That's what I understood, yeah.

Also, could it be anymore clear that the Lillith House is NOT involved in the Dean's death?

Y'know, after rewatching the episode, when Mercer was giving his "monologue" about why he rapes people, he kinda sounds like Patrick Bateman from American Psycho.

What I really enjoyed was the sense of danger. With most other shows featuring a female heroine, you would sort of expect her to escape a rapist. When Veronica was introduced she'd already been a victim, so the real fear was that it would happen to her again.

That's another thing I like is that Veronica isn't a super/ass-kickin' woman. Her mind is great, but physically, not so much. It's kinda refreshing to know that when things get physical Veronica's screwed because she isn't a physical threat. All too many females on TV and movies are too "Buffy-ish", they know karate and can kick anyone's ass. It may sound sexist, but I'm a big fan of Buffy and Sidney Bristow on Alias too, it's just cool to see a different type of heroine, one without karate training or superpowers.

Agreed. I think that aspect makes Veronica a more realistic role model. And really who doesn't enjoy watching her tase the hell out of somebody?:D

Yeah, I keep forgetting to mention that. When things get physical, as they are apt to do, I am absolutley scared ****less.

Same here. Especially since when she went up against Mercer, he punched her in the face and grabbed her ankles to maker slam her head on the ground. She got him as good though, shoving a unicorn horn in his leg and slicing his face. Ouch...

I cannot wait to see what happens to Logan post-breakup. He's grown a lot, but he still has that essential jackassery to him (We saw it in his conversation with Weevil in "President Evil" and all of his interactions with Piz.) I've always liked him and Veronica better snarking at eachother than being in shmoopy relationship mode.

I don't like the idea of dropping the multi episode mysteries, I think having two or three per season is a good idea, but doing away with them altogether scares me. Same thing was done to Alias and it killed the show.

who knows

Show Me the Monkey
Veronica takes a job helping animal researchers track down a missing monkey and Mindy O'Dell(Jaime Ray Newman) asks Keith to investigate Dean O'Dell's death.

I can only imagine the outcry.

It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out now that the Deans death seems it'll be more of a subplot.

Yeah i know finally! Why did this take so long to come back from break? The other shows came back a few weeks ago.

It was always scheduled to come back this week. The producers want to be able to show the full story arcs without interuption, so we'll be getting 7-9 weeks worth of new episodes, then a break, then the final batch of episodes.
