Veronica Mars

Third season wasn't too great but I enjoyed parts of it more than I did the 2nd season. And even lame episode of VM is better than a lot of the crap they put on tv.

It wasnt terrible, but compared to the first two seasons it was a bit of a letdown. They really changed the concept and there were episodes where many of the supporting characters didnt even appear. It was a mess.

It was because Rob I suppose was trying to save the show by having it where you new viewers could hop on in during the middle of the season and have a new mystery to follow instead of the longer more thought out mysteries of seasons one and two.

If he could bring the show back for Season 4 on a new network (which won't happen. :( ) I hope he goes back to the format of the first two seasons.

Last I heard Rob was interested in doing other things. If it does turn out that we get another season on another network, it would be a nice redempedition.

The CW wanted VM to be more "new viewer friendly" thus the more standalone episodes, and it was the only way it would give the show more episodes.

But VM wont be getting picked up by any network, to far gone. If any network picked it up I would think it would be CBS since they aired the first season during the summer a year ago and the show did pretty well.

Yeah, but I would have much preffered the show to be cancelled after S2 instead of getting a third season that was completely different and, frankly, worse. I wish he would have stood his ground.

Well you can always imagine the 3rd season never happened...

But the thing is, with VMs ratings so low, Rob didnt exactly have that much ground to stand on. He couldnt pull a Joss Whedon sadly.

I'm with you on that one.

Wish there was a way we'd get Veronica again in some form. I loved that idea of her being in the F.B.I.

The show is over. There will be no new season. Let it sink in and accept it.

One of my biggest problems with season 3 was how quickly they dismissed stuff from previoius seasons(the Kendall thing, no mention of Duncan, etc.) The show would've been better if they'd just followed a season long arc and maybe did a few more standalone eps than usual. Or they could have went with two mini arcs but had they interconnect someway.

Personally I'll always take fan fiction. The show maybe over but the stories continue elsewhere. Always does.

Don't know how it would work in comics, but if Buffy, Angel and Charmed can live on comics then I'm for it.

My fiancee and I just finished watching seasons 1 & 2 and are completely hooked on the show. Just in time to hear it got cancelled!

Oh well at least we have one more season to watch although it's not as good as the previous two, it's better than nothing.

novels maybe?

I'd only buy if they were written by a writer of the show. Anything else would probably not be canon, so I wouldnt be interested.

It's working for BUFFY and ANGEL, but then again Whedon's company still approves everything.

ya VM in book format wouldnt be so bad. Veronica could become this centuries Nancy Drew.

They'd likely market it for the teen audience, even if she was an adult in the books. Much like they did with Amy Pascal's FEARLESS line.
