Nolan also needs to adapt The Cluemaster since he is not doing The Riddler. Cluemaster is a far better choice.

You're right. Though the same could have been said about the Joker, as Heath Ledger was never a top pick before he stole that role.

This manip is hardly a manip. That IS what Hardy looked like in another role, the only thing I did was take away his mustache and replace it with a chinstrap. The resemblence to Strange is so uncanny, I wonder if it was this particular role of Hardy's that got landed him the part (if the rumors are true that is...), or the reason so many people are speculating that this is the character he will be playing.

This is further proof that Weisz would make an awesome Selina Kyle/Catwoman. JMO. However, I'm still not getting my hopes up. I just can't stand dissapointment.

I think Weisz' Catwoman could be a perfect combination of vintage Catwoman from old comics... a tish of Lee Meriweather (sp?) and the newer drawings of Catwoman. Now, Catwoman needs a pair of those cool goggles for some scenes. JMO.

People have been talking about it since the movie came out, and I've been struggling to see anything that resembles Black Mask.

Lucious Fox's line about "cats" in TDK was probably nothing... but it would mean a lot more in future back-to-back viewings of the Nolan trilogy.

... and just one more little tidbit to tie-in TDKR to TDK... just as a reverse story-arch between Harvey Dent and Selina Kyle - would.

A guy can only hope that Catwoman is in TDKR. JMO... but TDKR definitely needs a reverse Harvey Dent/Two-Face subplot. Batman saving Selina from Harvey's fate... just brings a little more to The Dark Knight actually rising. Again, JMO.

IF they were to include Killer Croc in the next film, I'm imagining him looking something similar to Reptile from the Mortal Kombat Rebirth trailer:

Although I don't have a problem with Vin Diesel in the role, I can't foresee Nolan wanting him in one of his films (though who am I to say...) His acting chops in Pitch Black as Riddick would suffice IMO as Killer Croc. But due to Mickey Rourke's recent popularity and critical acclaim, I think it's more likely we'd see him in the role. Bring in the same makeup/SPX team that transformed him into Marv in Sin City, and I think he'd steal his scenes.

I don't think Mickey Rourke would play Killer Croc. Unless he was the main villain and the pay was extremely high. And Croc should not be the main villain.

Rourke hates heavy makeup jobs and said Marv would be the only one he'd ever do. Only person who hates sitting in the makeup chair more than Rourke is probably Alan Cumming(see him talk about Nightcrawler)!

Thats exactly what Nolan is trying to avoid in his Batman movies. B&R had Freeze done in that way

I think this all stems from some people's stunningly ignorant assumption that a character called Black Mask had to be black.

It makes me embarrassed of humanity.
