I know, right? I actually realized that after I made the pic...which was slapped together rather hastily. But Freeze.....

...a little different in my version. :oldrazz:

F'n Amazing!.

Black Mask is perfect because we need a challenge for Bruce Wayne this time around as much as Batman needs a challenge. Roman Sionis v Bruce Wayne / Black Mask v Batman.

And also, I think with all these mobsters dead and gone, we need someone to combine all of the gangs together, and Black Mask is perfect for that aspect as well, as shown in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Riddler, I could see him being a solo villain and not working with the mob(for once in Nolan's series).

And as for Mad Hatter; if there could be a way for Nolan to introduce more 'freaks', as in Penguin and even Killer Croc, that trifecta of villains would work really well, imo.

Nolan's Batman is a crime-drama comic book superhero movie I think we can expect The Riddler to be connected to the mob somehow. Until the Joker, they ran the city. I wouldn't be surprised if Riddler picks up where Joker left off in TDK.

If we gett he Riddler that is

I think Nolan will use the Riddler. Nolan (this is my opinion) is one of those directors who is driven by psychological conflicts. Both Begins and TDK had psychological situations where some of the most vivid scenes were not about Batman beating the crap out of someone. It was actually him engaging in conversation, i.e. a mental chess match if you will. Who more psychological (or at least has the most potential to be) than Riddler?

Freeze, Black Mask COULD work as perhaps secondary villains. I just hope the next film isn't a 2 and a half hour movie with 3 main villains cramped into it.

I think a combo of Riddler/Deadshot, Riddler/Bane, or even Riddler/Killer Croc is a possibility.

As others have pointed out, Riddler will engage Batman in psychological warfare, while one of the other characters would challenge him physically.

Throw in Catwoman or Talia to bring Batman's moral compass into question, and Black Mask going hard after Bruce Wayne, and I think you have the makings of a fantastic third and final installment.

Bane is jsut as much a psychological threat as a physical one, which if matched up with another villain, he could play the dumb brute to a point before turning on them and taking bats on mentally and physically himself, kinda give him the approach of Lucian int he underworld movies, he is a brillaint character who is alos physically imposing(even if its jsut cuz he is a werewolf/lycan)

Did I miss something? Why is there such sudden love for Black Mask? He's always seemed to be one of the blandest villains in Batman's rogues gallery. Especially since they turned him into a gangster. We've already had a disfigured villain in TDK, who had a much more compelling backstory. Do we really need another one?

Visually Black Mask looks fairly cool but I agree with others that he's not that deep of a character...in the comics. If Nolan were to use him in the next Batman it would be a good way to give him more depth.

At the end of the day I don't care either way if he's in or not.

Mr. freeze was already said that he wouldn´t appear and bane and mr freeze shouldn´t be in the same film.

I wanted b3 main villain to be two face, there was so much more potential, he'll black mask could have even came in.

Yup, two-face had much potencial and the actor was even willing to go back as two-face but................................ well, we could still have two-face in batman 4 when they change the director.

Two-Face was the villain i wanted. But they decided to kill him off instead :(

Two-face was the villain whe deserved, but not the villain we neded
Riddler is not the villain we deserve, but the villain we need right now.

I agree. Black Mask's selling point as a villain is that he is perhaps the most sadistic and least compassionate of them all. The Joker will kill or maim people in ways that he finds funny, while Sionis just does it because he enjoys the very acts of torture and murder. He is the only Batman rogue who one can easily associate with the torture and murder of a teenage girl using a power drill and a saw.

None of which could or should be shown in a PG-13 Batman movie. So he's pointless.

I was against Robin in the third movie until i saw that movie,Batman: under the red hood. That is how they should make the third movie.

i find it a different kind of character, and i dont want the disfigured Black Mask, i want a mask wearing BM

I wouldn't mind a "James Bond opening scene" with either Dr.Death or the Mad Monk as a cult leader as opposed to the supernatural vampiric aspect. Given the ending of the Dark Knight,I'm expecting an altercation with the police being a likelier scenario.Maybe either intro could be used in a future sequel.

That will be the best route to go, plus it'll fit into Nolan's movies perfectly, imo.

I say use the black mask that Scarecrow saw of Batman when he was under his own fear toxin.

I don't think that Sionis' mask should look too overtly monster-ish. That would be too on the nose, and risks being unwittingly funny. Much better to have a blank, dead, wooden sheet, behind which an actor can project whatever he likes.
