Love what I'm seeing of Davis as Waller. Whatever this movie turns out to be, it's obvious they NAILED the casting and the character perfectly and we'd better see a LOT of her in the DCEU.

Seems like a missed opportunity if it doesn't happen, but we would have probably heard something by now

Well, I'll be damned... I do find her sexy now. I do have a habit of ending up with women that are a bit... handful. Almost every relationship was a threat to my life.

Yeah, I think out of all the casting decisions they made with this film, this one was the one I was most excited about because for me, there was NO other choice for Waller than Davis. CCH Pounder and all the other names people brought up don't hold a candle to her, IMO. I have no doubt she's going to own the **** out of this role. The movie around her had just better be worthy.

That's how she's supposed to be, not the outright villain that she's sometime portrayed as. The DCAU is still the best portrayal of the character I've ever seen.

Likely depends on the details, though. For instance, if it turns out she has taken, or plans to take, action against metahumans who *don't* have antisocial activities. . . well then, she's just another well-placed government mutant-hater. I don't *think* they are going that direction, though.

I remember the first Squad mission they had on Arrow. It basically ended with Amanda sending out a drone strike after they already completed the mission.

Arrow Amanda Waller was basically the most evil person in the setting, prior to "I want to commit cosmic omnicide" Zoom. Sure, Darkh wanted to cause nuclear armageddon, but this plan correlated in a rational way with his intended goals and desires. I'm pretty sure Waller would have triggered nuclear armageddon for far, far stupider and more petty and malign reasons.
