In the movie idea I had, this is how he defeats Brainiac. This shot after he flies out of the sun.

I cant speak as to what he may or may not do but, I know what I would like to see.

Brainiac, and he is either created from N.K., or he actually comes from Krypton itself.

an opening sequence with supes in a fight with metallo, or another lesser known villain..

A Lex that has moved on from his obsession with land. His new obsession would be business ( Lex-corp).

Brainiac makes contact with Lex and they form a secrete partnership. Lex gives Brainiac info about Jason.

Jason gets kidnapped by Brainiac, to use as leverage against superman.

Superman loses the first fight due to Brainiac having jason hid in a secrete location.


Richard and Lois discover where jason is located and attempt to save him, they succeed, but Richard dies a hero during the rescue.

Superman learns jason is safe, but he also learns about richard. an enraged supes goes all out on Brainiac, eyes glowing bright red.

Here is a little ending I added that I would love to see.


At the end of the film, it shows Brainiac's ship in space, inside are a dozen more fully functional Brainiac bodies just like the first, drones. Brainiac is talking to somone on a monitor. As the screen fades, The last image we see is the person Brainiac is talking to, its Darkseid.

Buttons blink on a control board. Computer screens flash on and off, flooded with what looks like hieroglyphics. A monitor flickers in the middle of the room lighting up BRANIAC'S FACE.

Id do it the way the 2nd half of my fan script goes...

-Lex n co. find crashed alien aircraft-use the technology to make lexcorp a mega industrial power

-superman once again investigating luthor who again needs kryptonite...

-Lex is about to go public with the company and cant hav **** happen; but when john corben is killed by the police in his robbery attempt, Lex has no choice to but to steal the body and rebuild him into metallo using the alien technology, and pit him against supes.

-superman and lois are falling in love but is forbidden

-military subplot about lex trying to sell his weapons to the u.s. government but they wont pay; in order to make em pay the big bills he has to show them that the government does in fact NEED the weapons-luthor sets up metallo attack

-metallo pretty much kills superman with the fight and kryptonite; lex goes ahead with plan metallo to attack metroplis, and make the government realize they need luthor alien advanced weaponary.

-superman is nearly killed in a trap to save lois but he dies doing it. metallo goes to attack city; richard, lois, jimmy, and perry white all help save Superman only to have Superman say he has to go stop Metallo (who would surely kill him). Lois, in effort to keep him from going, says she loves him n would leave richard for him(which richard overhears) but supes says he "has to try" to stop metallo.

-que huge superight, superman wins with help of military.

-final scene is lex, with the alien pod, when suddenly it turns on, and a massive light shines down...the pod was brainiacs scouter!

brainiac in the sequel+ id4 style alien invasion of brainiacs troops assaulting earth!

how about this?

due to the side effect of the overly exposure to the kryponite radiation, superman had slowly losing his power. in the first act, he was having a hard time to stop a crime and he got himself injured and bled. he became more vulnerable. and later he couldn't fly. he had became a HUMAN!!!

he couldn't deal with the situation; the weakness of human being, the pain, the sickness and emotion. he almost lost himself. fortunately, with the love and help from lois, richard and his son, he went through it and they had developed a healthy relationship.

then, the 'disaster' came (Lex returns/a new villain advent), the world was in danger again and he could do nothing but to see the earth being destroyed. he then learned that his son couldn't handle his power, he had killed a man. with not much choice, he brought his son to the molecule chamber and had the problem fixed.

once again, superman had no choice but to return to his own destiny to fight the evil and protect the world.

i think it's very singerish.

as much as i would love to see this, do you think Singer will go this route?

Thats hilarious.

My take? Brainiac comes to Earth, deciding to use it as a base to crush Darkseid. He realises he needs to assert control, so he gets an ally on the surface (Luthor), and tries to capture Supes to recreate the Kryptonian race and thus defeat Darkseid - Krypton wasn't too happy with Darkseid before it exploded.

He also wants to maintain blood purity, and thus tries to find Jason. However, Jason is hidden, and he can't quite manage to catch him.

So, this gives us more action, Supes getting nasty (he is a father after all, and kids are important to good fathers).

I could see singer handling Brainiac in a very sci-fi/star trek kinda way (like The Borg).

I doubt he's interested at all in Darkseid unless theres a fan movement for it; and there doesnt seem to be.

It seems everyone wants Brainiac.


I think the direction of the sequel will be to pretty much resolve all the storylines from the first film; mainly the love triangle and Superman's involvement in Jason's life.

Personally, I say he wouldnt, but who knows.

Well, he did do the Phoenix rising from the water at the end of X2...so who knows? That being said, I honestly see him using more grounded villians for the sequel just because that is his style, so don't get your hopes up too much for Darkseid or possibly even Brainiac.

In the Superman realm, Zod is more grounded than Brainiac and more up Singer's alley.

And for the record, nothing is "confirmed". The movie isn't even confirmed.

considering they seemed to emphasize the fact that kitty tossed the crystals onto krypton, and it got tossed in space with kryptonite and supes blood/dna...and lex says that each crystal does something different....including "weapons" i think that is where the "alien" villian will come from.

maybe it'll be some sort of "screwed-up science experiment" type thing where we will get a massive monster capable of incredible things, because of the ingredients involved....or a storyline where the kryptonian technology is focused on keeping the kryptonian race "clean".....or a brainiac type enemy....i think there are alot of GREAT directions this can go.
