I gather from various posts that Walmart isn't a favorite store for many of the folks here. Could you be so kind as to state why it isn't? Pardon my ignorance, if it is an economic matter...our economy teacher never really taught us economy-more like the results of the previous night's ballgame.

Thanks

Wal-Mart dose not...SUCK:cmad: Burn in HEEELLLLLLLL.

Pfft, I live at Wal-Mart. Middle of the night I need some snacks, or flirt with old ladies, Wally World is always there for me. It never turns it's back on me.

I don't shop there because of their efforts against unionization and the job loss that occurs everywhere they go. Also, because I went to This Site once.

I go to Wal-Mart. Their DVD selection is crap though compared to Best Buy.

Most people shop there because it has EVERYTHING. Clothes, food, electronics, you name it.

The Wal-Mart next to my house got destroyed a year or two ago by a hurricane. Regardless, I didn't like it. All the aisles were constantly messy and they seemed to be too morally centered (That is, I couldn't find certain CDs there sometimes because of their family-oriented "thing." Plus, the movies there never seemed that great either.).

Agreed.

I drive through the walmart parking lot so I can go next door and shop at Target

Target is clearly better, but Wal-Mart is closer. :(

For some reason every Wal-Mart looks all dirty, and dungeon like.

I'm a cake decorater at Walmart. It has decent pay and hours. Plus they treat their emploies as people. Don't need a union when you your self can go talk to any manager and get things taken care of. I'm man enough to stand up for my self. Union wusses.

my family always shops at Wal-Mart... it's cheap, and it's helped us out through the worst of times

Take a slip and fall in the backroom and watch how those managers help you then.:o :whatever: :o

Wal-Mart sucks. I bought two pairs of pants there. I washed them, and the stitching on the ass came apart. The first time I wore the other pair the crotch ripped. The bastards wouldn't take them back because they were washed. Like I'm going to wear a pair of pants that haven't been washed.

I shop at Walmart. I go to the Super Center and buy food and household items. I don't buy clothes there, sometimes I will buy a book or a game.

I mostly go there to buy cheap movies or to look at the toys. Yes I know, its very sad.

It's really the only place to shop around here. I go there for necessities like food and such but everything else I just order online, unless I have to have it right now.

I've worked at both Wal-Mart and Target, and they both sucked, but Wal-Mart was the (slightly) better of the two.

I hate Wal-Mart but I do sometimes go there because you can get everything from lightbulbs to birthday cards, and everything in between. What I don't like about it is the clientele. So many of the people who shop there are just so .. hmm, I hate to say it, but so low-lifey. Sad, but true.

Lol, words cannot describe how right you are...American Woman?:oldrazz:

I go to K-mart first given the chance, only because the lines are faster. I do buy some food items at Wal-Mart because it's cheaper. I just hate long lines and avoid going there at Christmas. :(
