Walking Through Pryde: The Kitty Thread

No this happened in the cartoon too.She phased him into the ground but his invulnerability prevented him from merging molecules.

Which cartoon? Evolution? Because it had some inconsistencies. Like Nightcrawler being able to teleport everywhere he wants to without seeing where he goes or Logan not dying when Leech shut his healing factor off.

Logan wouldnt die on the spot if his healing was shut off. He would just begin to age from that moment on like a normal person.

he would die right away bc of the metal in his body. when house of m happened, scott was worried that logan was depowered bc he would instantly die

His body is constantly healing him because of his adamantium skeleton. If his powers would suddenly stop his body would immediately start to reject the adamantium.

That's why in the House of M when everything returned to normal, they immediately rushed to Logan because they were afraid he lost his powers and would die.

I found myself oddly infatuated with her seeing the trailers on tv.. and then after watching the movie I just wanted to give her a big hug..lol

I loved Kitty in this one. Awwww :O I liked her skating scene with Bobby. it was a nice moment. I liked her chase sequence with juggernaught and saving Leech.

Yeah. We've got ourselves one more 'new' superheroine on film. But now we've got to wait for the next one in "Wonder Woman". Someday...

Kitty was great in every scene in the film.

her uniforum was too lose if you ask me lol

Too loose? - I think you have a valid point.

She would say that in the comics actually.

It's funny how some characters are treated with respect and others aren't.

Ellen Page....oh....Ellen Page....;)

Kitty was awesome. Definitely one of the highlights.

She, Beast and Iceman were really the only one's I thought were treated with respect (for the X-Men). However it may have been because the movie left such little room for character development that characters like Kitty and Iceman (who overall got only a little screentime) weren't present enough to be f---ed up. Colossus obviously was shafted, but you cannot say he was out of character I suppose. It seemed to me characters like Wolverine, Juggernaut, Storm, Magneto and Xavier who had a lot more dialogue got really mishandeled. Wolverine was some Cyclops and then Wolverine morphing mutant. And really the characters had no motivation to do what they were doing other than "oh well I guess its just time to save the world...ho hum". Whereas characters like Kitty and Iceman are allong for the ride anyways, so a lack of motivation on their part really does not matter. Plus the small love story was fun and actually involved character development since it did not involve explosions, which were often used in place of that. Also Ellen Page is just so damn cute she worked.

This is kind of off-topic but MAN they screwed Colossus...in the big final scene he steels up and then disappears til the fastball special is needed...

Kitty was great...except that she should have had more scenes with Colossus...and a romance should have been hinted at...

I loved kitty, Ellen Page is awesome. As for iceman, isn't he supposed to be funny? He had no sense of humor in this or in x2.

Thanks. ;)

Nice to be on these X3 forums. I've got A LOT to talk about.

But as far as Kitty goes, Ellen Page was great and the character was a nice addition. The scene with Juggernaut? Priceless.

Hey shadow, I thought you were only making one post in this thread. That would have rocked:o
