walmart stampede kills

Now we all know if this was the third sequel to Batman that Nolan was directing and it was a private screening you'd trample your grandma to get in. It just depends on the product in question.

I find this funny in a really twisted way, I mean can you imagine dying for video games and Mannah Montana stationery.

How'd you like to be one of the people who sees this story on the news and KNOWS you were part of that mob?

As a employee at Wal-Mart, I'm sadly not surprised by this. Christmas time is the absolute worst time of year for us. Instead of seeing the best in humanity, we see the greediest, whiny a-holes you can think of. Add to that 24 hours of bad Christmas music, and its a very unhappy time of year for most of us.

Just remember kids, when you're buying at the check out counter, the cashier hates your guts.

Oh, and we are out of Wii's and converter boxes, and you *****ing at me about it won't change the fact that we don't have any.

Depends on how much $$$ I saved. :o

won't be worth it if the store has security camera and your face is plaster on the news

nbc10.com has a video of the EMTs performing CPR on the guy.

I mean, come on...

This is really, really sad. And considering this guy just got the job too. :(

Man...

if i was in that mob and see a lifeless body on the ground, I would probably try to do something. I can't believe those people, as it seems, were so 'matter of fact' about it.

Very sad. ...To be honest, I don't think consumerism should be villified; this was a fluke tragedy.

I do not think it was a fluke. It may be in the sense that someone actually died in this, which I've never heard happening before, but I've heard of some people getting injured when the new game systems came out at my store. And mornings on Black Friday are horrendous. Parents just have to get their kid a Tickle Me Elmo, or a Furby(I laugh hysterically now when I think back to the Furby craze).

How sad for that 34 year old person to die as a result of working at Walmart.

A fluke? Shoppers break down and unhinge the doors and stampede in, someone is killed and several are injured, and it's a fluke?

I don't think so.

Ugh. My family just put Christmas on hold this year.

Looks like we were right to do it.

How do you put Christmas on hold? You mean like, delaying the celebration of it? Or just scaling back?

Black Friday is like Boxing Day right? And... what the hell, I read about this yesterday and that's honestly the most ****ed up thing I've ever read.

That poor guy was only a temporary employee, they sacrificed his ass.
