I actually think Huntress will do better than a WW movie. Honestly.......she comes off kind of corny(just being real) but Huntress can come off relatable......like Bats to a degree.

Tomb Raider was one of the most successful heroine movies recently and it had sexual overtones in it.

Sexual overtones tend to always effect women characters in fiction. It is useful in marketing but the problem is when it takes over the character itself. When that happens it makes it harder for audiences to take them seriously or just see them as eye candy.

If they over make a WW film I think they should work on establishing that she is more then a pretty face. Rucka, Perez and Simone have done it in their comics and JLU accomplished to a degree.

They tend to not be suitable for all ages.

Always saw WW as a movie which would not be for all ages. More in line with Iron Man and Nolan's Batman.

You think WW will? She's a gorgeous amazon walking around in revealing clothing.......what parent will want to take their kids to that?

They can design her costume so it isn't as revealing but still sexy. Make it more like battle armor or Greek royalty fashion.

She isn't just random Amazon. WW is the champion of Athena, blessed with powers from many different Greek gods and princess of Themyscira. That's more interesting to me then a different version of a mythical demi-god worshiped thousands of years ago.

Being corny doesn't mean it can't work. It just means the film makers will have to work on it that much harder. The material is there in the comics for them to build from.

Agreed. Helen Bertinelli could easily fit into Nolan's Batman universe.

They have a director and are working on a screenplay for it.

It's not "what's wrong with his origin" so much as "what's wrong with Hal." Honestly, I've never liked him. Probably never will. The only time he was mildly interesting was back when they confronted his bigotry. In fact, the only people I know who know who he is and give a rat's tail about him exclusively hang around comic shops. To this day, I still have no clue why he's iconic besides lingering around like a rancid carton of milk.

when I went to Comic Con last year...I was at dinner with some people..me, my cousin, and about 3 other people we had met the day before...all sitting around eating and drinking...someone mentioned an Aquaman movie and people started laughing....like an "are you serious?" laugh.....no one cares

Then Maybe they should do like Lucas: they did Stars wars clone wars in 3d so do the same with Aquaman (Also GL). If the audience like it then they could start a real motion picture. Same with JLA

Not totally unexpected. JLU might have laid the ground work for that.

WW would definitely be much harder to adapt then GL. That's why its vital the solo film she gets, if it ever happens, be given the best treatment possible with people who respect the character, not just use the irrelevant Linda Carter/Super Friends versions only for inspiration, whose talent fits the franchise like a glove and aren't afraid to tap into the definitive Post-Crisis comics runs.

The same thing could be said about Iron Man whose portrayal on page went from sleazy to charming and humorous playboy. The movie cleverly went in th last direction.
Jordan was portrayed as a bigot mainly after the O'Neil/Adams run. They wanted to use superheroes to do a commentary on the political and social situation of the time so they had GA as the Liberal and GL as the conservative to express the different point of views. And given the political ideas of the writer GA was the one who came up as the more intelligent.
And GL was chosen as the conservative, mainly due to the fact that he's a intergalactic policeman. They seemed to forget that up to that moment Oliver Queen was a millionaire who couldn't care less about poor people or blacks.
Back to Jordan in a movie, I can see it working. He'd be the reckless maverick (a la Tom Cruise in Top Gun) who learn self sacrifice and to beahave in the Corps.
Let's say it could become a superpowered "An Officer and a Gentleman" but in the end the sergeant becones the villain.

Don't confuse your opinion with fact. WW has a wider appeal than you think. I doubt you have inside information to confirm for sure that GL and Flash are certain.

They should focus on establishing the upper and mid-tier DC super-heroes or teams like Teen Titans that don't have multiple franchises on the line if they fail.
