Decent year for me. Got my first job out of college, which is a big plus

hmmm...this year i ended the 5 year relationship with my fiance, the day she moved out, my grandmother passed away...i recently put my dog down whom I had since I was 7 (I'm 23 now)...so at first glance this year, especially the past few months have been hell...HOWEVER, I did get a great job in my field, and my very first CD is currently in its lats leg of mastering, so there have been some good things...

Well, i finally decided to write a craft book which is coming along swimmingly, i have a great boyfriend and a cute dog, a roof over my head and a job. With how much bad going on this year with people i know being laid off, losing their homes and deaths in the family or friends. I can't complain.

I'll keep this simple. A lot has changed for me this year, all good. I got a job in January and still have it. I went back to school for my GED, as I never completed high school because of social reasons and laziness. And I'm a lot better around people, not caring or fearing as much on what they thought of me. All this is moving me to my next venture in healthcare within the next year.

This was my year, was it yours? And will next year be your year?

This was most assuredly NOT my year.

This year was very..."static" for lack of a better word. Nothing lost, nothing gained. I still have my dead end job but I'm glad to have a job at all. I went on a nice road trip in May around the Western US for two weeks. Besides that, I worked and didnt do much else.
Next year looks to be about the same.

As a quick update, then this thread can go away (delet).

I got my results for my GED test yesterday and I passed. Also, on 1/30/09 I start my training to be a Home Health Aide. That is all.
