I've finally got the right description for 'Superman Returns.' It's simple:
Bland. Boring. Slow. Uninspired. Hollow.
An absolutely hollow 200-million-dollar-toy.

My perfect explanation would be:
Exhilarating, Action oriented but with a story to tell and a character to develop, very emotional in some scenes's, very uplifting in others.
Overall one of the best Superhero movies ever.
I love Superma Returns. I would put it in my top 5 superhero films.

My own personal opinions aside, I think the discussion on this is truly fascinating. I haven't seen a film since Star Wars with this much fan division on how good or bad it was. Wow!![]()
right....and the total lack of any OFFICIAL news regarding a sequel only exacerbates the division between the 2 sides.
Instead of discussing facts about the sequel, we are left to continue debating the same arguments ad nauseum for the past 1 and 1/2 years......and if the argument gets kicked out of one thread, we simply move it to another......lol.
I mean.....look at the sequel board section. We're still debating the SR there, since all we have at this point regarding the sequel is mere rumor or speculations.....

Summary of SR = extremely weak, boring and uninspiring interpretation of Superman by an arrogant director and a movie thats only well recieved by non Superman fans, sensitive folks, people with bad taste and those whos standards don't meet the high standards needed for a character this legendary.
Superman Returns should have been the movie of the year, a movie to blow Spiderman off the top spot and have kids jumping off their bunk beds.
