The Dark Knight Rises WB: No discussions about Batman 3 with Nolan yet

When it comes to Batman, the future of the franchise is in Christopher Nolan's hands. That's what a successful reboot with "Batman Begins" and breaking records with "The Dark Knight" will do.

There's a deal for the director to helm a third pic, but he has yet to decide on whether to tackle it yet.

"We have no idea where Chris is going with this," Horn says. "We haven't had any conversations with him about it."

Either way, there's no question Warner Bros. will produce more superhero pics. The question is when.

Didn't it take him almost half a year before he decided to tackle TDK? I would imagine we won't be hearing anything until early next year. I still hope he does a film in between TDK and BB3 also.

I'm guessing he will take the rest of the year off.
Then prob early next year announce Batman3.

I'm pretty sure once TDK was confirmed, Nolan and Bale started talking about the series as a trilogy.

It would be cool to see Nolan do an original film before B3.
Also I don't think the imagined release of 2011 for B3 has to be stuck to, we'll see.

From what Ive heard of Nolan he values his principals more then money.

They had better not.

If Nolan wants to make a sequel he'll do it when he wants to.

Pressuring him to do anything would have the opposite effect.

both burton and nolan didnt plan on making a 2nd movie, but they both did and made the films darker. as long as they give nolan his creative freedom, im pretty sure he;ll do it again.
