Wednesday Comics- DC's next weekly series

Just about everything shown in the previews so far looks absolutely stellar. I can't wait to get my hands on this.

I dont even think they have to put in word bubbles, i'd still buy this

Artist Karl Kerschl has posted a preview of art from his and Brenden Fletcher’s Flash strip in Wednesday Comics. The 12-part weekly series launches in July.

S***. I wasn't going to buy this, but Kerschl Flash... oh, sweet Kerschl Flash...

I have to pay more attention to this series and possibly rethink not buying it.

If anyone remembers Solo this will be a lot like that
Cancelled in 12 issues?

I think this is a good idea. Maybe it will bring in some new readers.
Are they selling it on newsstands or something? If not, let's just abandon the pretense that mainstream people are ever going to walk into the Dragon's Basement and brave hordes of creepy fat guys with stubble just to pick up a freakin comic book.

I am getting ****ing pissed on how good this looks. God damnit. I didnt want to buy this. Damnit. Damnit. Damnit all to hell.

I'm still thinking I'll pass. So far the only thing that really looks appealing to me is the Kerschl Flash stuff. Everything else is sort of meh-tastic. Hawkman? Pass, I hate that guy. Batman and Superman hanging out? Pass, I can see that in the cartoons or like half of my Batman/Superman/JLA TPBs. Those are the only other things I can remember right now, but I'd probably come up with some logical reason for passing on the other stuff, too.

But the art Corp, the art!!! And it's not like you can get this in trade format. This will be THE comic to read on the ****ter.

I can get the art online. DC's clearly posting enough of it on their blog and in articles. Art alone has never been enough to justify my buying something.

A little over one more week! I'm so freakin excited.

And yes it will be collected in trade format FYI. They're deciding on how to do it.

So this book is going to be sort of like 52 wheres theres a bunch of different intertwining storyarcs, but each arc is going to be seperate with different writers and artists and art style?

Looks interesting enough, but is it going to peter at Countdown / Trinity levels, or is it going to be quality writing?

I don't think it has story arcs. I thought it was just random stories from random creators featuring random heroes in a newspaper strip format.

Flash Sneak Peak :woot:

I rather like the look of the Green Lantern stuff. It's like if Pixar decided to make a Green Lantern film.
