Apocalypse Were you disappointed or satisfied with the flying scenes?

we only really saw Angel flying & Storm/Magneyo just kinda levitated . All in all I thought it looked cheap specially during the final battle wit . the bad wire work.

Eh I don't care if they just levitated. thats not even an issue to me. I just think when it comes to certain characters, they don't make them fly like what they did to Tempest, Banshee, Angel and Sunspot.

Angel looked fine but Storm...

Man Storm in every movie, except The Last Stand, has been poorly done in regards to her flight. Put on a few fans and get her cape to move. She doesn't actually fly without the wind carrying her so it's just a little annoying to see her cape gently moving when it's the one thing helping her fly.

Agreed. Tbh the best flying scenes were in Xmen First class imo but even those weren't particularly amazing. Can anyone tell me if Avengers had good flying scenes, I can't remember since i'm not interested in the Avengers. I still feel we have not had an aerial battle or good flying scenes. I'm tired of all this levitating/floating ****.

Iron Man, Falcon and Rhodey engaged in top notch aerial combat, with Spidey participating in many of the more memorable moments. Vision and Scarlet Witch were purely levitators.

I agree. I don't know why he can't do it right. He already had so many chances on making it really flawless. Hope someday we can see something like the scene from BvS where superman is looking at the family who are trapped on the roof. Even though he is just floating, it looks so fierce and real.

Whats funny is that Singer showed Sunspot flying briefly in DOFP.

He thinks just levitating is cool, but ever since the Banshee/Angel Salvadore fight, my standards have increased.

Say what you want about the film itself but Brett Ratner had a better handle on Storm's flight scenes. She actually got to do something and use her powers to fight and not just stand and use thunderbolts, mist and wind.

The point that I was making was that Brett Ratner had her do some interesting flying scenes and had her do something with her powers for once that wasn't mist control.

Its a fair point. Banshee had a couple decent flight scenes, but X-Verse has nothing on Iron Man or even Superman on film.

Anyway, didn't make or break the film for me.

Didn't care for them. Everyone except Angel were just levitating. Angel's flight scenes were weak. No wonder Singer avoids it in the previous X films he directed.

It would have been perfect for Storm to fly around in Cairo...while she levitate higher than Magneto and flies to the side briefly I was rather disappointed. I can understand Magneto levitating but Storm should have done more while actually Flying. I think I read an interview where AS said that she blew a plane out of the sky, not sure if it was a scene filmed or not.
