Days of Future Past What about the music?

June 21?! Seriously? I'm outraged. The music needs to come out before the film. It's the only thing that will tide me over! :csad:

Since we won't get a score for now, we only have to wait for the scene-spoiling "Love Love" music video.

Some people like to listen to it before they get to see the movie. I personally would rather see the songs in context first before buying the albums.

Hopefully it leaks sometime after that.

I'm seriously very, very upset that I'm not getting the score this month. I love film music in general, especially when it's a franchise I love. The scoring in the 'Magic Trick' clip was fantastic! It had light strings reminiscent to Mystique's theme in 'X2' - I already know I'm going to love it! Having the score is sort of like having the movie... it tides me over those long months till the movie comes out on DVD.

I haven't had a good chance to check over the last few pages yet but has anyone suggested any good 1960's songs for X-men: First Class? It would be great to get some rocking songs of the time in there.

Awesome news!

I like the tracklisting as well. Gives a better idea of the film.

Is this confirmed?, is Kamen's score coming back?, cause I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Ottman is Singer's composer, not Kamen. I imagine if they're talking about the classic theme from Singer's films..they probably mean this one, since it would most likely be the theme he would have had Ottman reprise if he had directed the film:

Well technically Kamen and Ottman were Singer's composers, but I know Ottman has always been involved in Singer's projects be it as a composer or editor so his would be the clear choice, but that review has been in my head all day, which one could that reviewer be referring to as the "classic X-Men theme"? just naming it that way makes you question if the reviewer has actually ever listened to one of the soundtracks. But I'm really pshyched to hear new arrangements of any of the old themes in the movie.

I'm thinking the score will be more in line with X2 and X3's scores. Their X-Men themes were action-packed and I believe have been the two most iconic Marvel Movie themes to date.

I have both of their scores on my iPod.

But if what the reviewer is saying is true, which one would you like to hear again in "First Class"?
