The Dark Knight What are your biggest Dark Knight Fears?

"Swear to me!" is the worst delivered line in comic book movie history.

I fear the Joker will be all work and no play.

I completely disagree! That was one of the best lines in the movie!

"Its you who's out Gobby! Out your mind!" That's the worst line in comic book movie history.:o

lol
Exactly Mr. Vice.
Bales voice fit for Batman just like Tobeys voice fit for Spider-Man.
I mean, these are comic book superheros we are talking about. Cheese is implied.

Well, I don't about all the "cheese", but I agree with you on the voice part.

In your opinion I loved that line I thought Bale was excellent with it.

Please tell me you are kidding

I'm in the camp that loved the "Swear to me!" line. Otherwise I really didn't like his "Batman voice." I mean, it wasn't bad enough to really take anything away from the movie, but it certainly wasn't nearly as cool-sounding as Keaton's Batman voice. It wasn't a deal-breaker or anything, I thought it sounded a little corny.

One thing I noticed in the film is the scene in the Batcave when he gives Rachel the antidote. He doesn't disguise his voice when he's talking to her, or at least not nearly to the extent that he did in the rest of the movie. I honestly would've preferred that he just use his real voice throughout the movie like he did in that scene.

But yeah, the "Swear to me!" line was classic.

HAHA, "Its you whose out gobby...out of your mind!"

lmao.

My biggest fear is The Joker wearing a mask.

I wonder if they'll do the red hood origin storyline. Maybe like some flashback sequences like in The Killing Joke. :hyper:

I see nothing wrong with the voice I think it's great also He isn't telling her who he is he is giving her a clue and she isn't the only one there why let his normal voice out when there are others around.

he recited exactly something which she said to him as bruce earlier in the film, that's a pretty big clue

Well, as I remember, Keaton also wasn't 100% perfect with his height and hair.

If Bale had any negative aspect and it was his voice, at least he didn't have more than 3 of it.
I hate to break the news to you but I didn't like Keaton as Batman and have never ever seen him as Batman for the reasons you just pointed out. He was hugely miscast and did not do a good job.

^ tell that to the film that told Hollywood that comic book movies are money makers. Batman '89 was the most successful comic book movie. Obviously your opinion doesnt quite match those who made the movie successful- the audience.

talk about biting the hand that feeds...

Keaton and Burton are nothing but sad memories for me. I think Val Kilmer would have been ok if he was under Nolan's directing but then it wasnt meant for him but for Bale.

The biggest fear i have about TDK is that it may be too superb for my mind to handle and that I may explode.

thats it. nothing worries me beyond that. everything will be absolutley amazing. its a fact.

I fear we won't hear the word Bat-Shark-Repellant-Spray once.

Of course it is a big clue but it isn't saying "Oh by the by I am Bruce Wayne"

There were other people around so it was smart not to change his voice and it would of just sounded stupid if he did it would of taken away from the entire scene.

Bale using the voice as he did was a big part in building the image of Batman. He had to be over the top because his reactions had to be big. Once the entire city and criminals fear Batman he wont have to go overboard, he wont have to try as hard to scare criminals establishing Batman because they will already be scared of him.

Bales Batman voice was perfect for a Batman just starting out.
Keatons Batman voice was perfect for a Batman that is well established.
