The Dark Knight Rises What do you not like about the movie?

I can't like or dislike anything about a movie that I haven't seen but I guess one can dislike plot points that they have read. Of course if the plot point is well executed that dislike will because pointless.

You know, they don't have to mention the Joker at all... but I'd like a small little nod. Like a rebuilt Gotham General hospital... not many of the GA would even notice, but for some of the die hards may like it. I would like it simply for the 'reminder' feeling that joker really ****ed stuff up.

then again, its not a big deal...

my biggest complaints so far though...not using the name Catwoman...wtf are they going to call her? Goggles?

call me what you will...but the thought that bane cant take off his mask without extreme pain... so some buff dude has to eat with a straw? lol

Tatelia... i hope she has an ass like talia in Arkham City :hehe:

boobs. no boobs in these movies.

Fortunately Anne's stuntdouble sure does, so I'm hoping for tons of back-shots as Catwoman rides the bat-pod.

I fully expect her to clean herself like a cat as well.

or....dare I say.... purrrrrr

My problems:

1. The Bat just looks ridiculous. You might be able to convince me it can get off the ground, but do double barrel rolls over skyscrapers to dodge missiles? Should have used a regular jet.

2. Possible "earthquake machine". Sounds dumb.

3. I have a little problem with Bane being shorter than Batman, that is about it. I feel as though he should be taller. Not a huge issue, I'm sure Nolan will work around it.

:funny:

No Catwoman name bothers, me, too. We've heard Ra's Al Ghul, Joker, Scarecrow, Two Face, Bane, even Zsasz get their names mentioned. Some more than others but they were all there somewhere.

Just Selina Kyle...like they called Harvey Dent Harvey Dent, even though the term 'Twoface' was brought up in a slightly different context. This one just doesn't bring up 'Catwoman'. No biggie.

Please no.:O I think it was fine in Burton's version but not in this one....no purring or hissing or meowing, etc. The rogue outlaw catburglar with headgear that creates a cat0ears-like motif when raised is fine enough to be based o Catwoman of the comics. This should be a cool different version.

The first thing I don't like about this movie is that Michael Keaton did not reprise his role as batman. I've been coming to grips with that since 2005.

I was completely joking about the cleaning herself, lol we were talking about sex appeal stuff. and Boobs.

I dislike that there will more than likely be no TDKR styled video game for this movie, tie-in or otherwise. :csad:

As a bonus feature on the BluRay though...I vote an emphatic yes. ;)

I don't like that Two-Face didn't survive the fall, but that's just cause I'm a HUGE Two-Face fan and was hoping they would do the character a little more justice than his 15 mins of fame that he had in TDK. BTW if you're a fan of Two-Face I suggest you watch the 2 part Batman TAS story called "Two-Face". Now THAT was how I think Two-Face's story should have been portrayed.

I also don't like that SUPPOSEDLY they don't mention the Joker at all. I just think he's TOO big of character to be kept under wraps for an entire 8 year period. I mean we all know Joker didn't die at the end of TDK, and we all know what Joker does every time he goes to Arkham. BUT (and this is something to keep in mind), I think if Joker were to be mentioned in this movie, Nolan would do ALL that he could to keep it under wraps. So that when when and if we finally see it onscreen, it'll be a huge surprise for all of us. (perhaps the "necessary evil" towards the end of the film refers to a certain Clown Prince of crime? maybe?).

I could see the next arkham game being somewhat similar... after the ending of arkham city...I'm sure there are many paths they could go that would relate to TDKR

Batman:
- he doesn't get a new suit
- he could retire at the end and/or pass the mantle, or even die

Catwoman:
- she doesn't have claws
- she uses a gun rather than a whip

I'm not understanding how speculation on how it ends becomes 'what you don't like about it'. For all we know, Batman could end up doing the Batusi on Banes grave.

What don't I like? That I haven't seen it yet.

It's not the end of the world but I do not like the fact AT ALL that there seems to be a lot of Batman out and about in daylight. I heard Nolan's explanation for it awhile back but I'm still not digging it(until I see it of course).

It is hard to tell what to like not like until we have seen the movie...that being said, I too hope that JGL does not become Batman, I hope that is one of those rumors that we are all going to laugh at in a few months.
